Veradigm’s Medical Claims and Remittance Data are nationally representative data sets which come from over 24,000 ambulatory provider practices across the U.S. and include over 100 payers; Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid. The Medical Claims Data (837-p) and Remittance Data (835-p) can be licensed separately or together and licensed data updates are provided on a daily basis.
Medical Claims provide the data relating to an encounter with a medical professional for which reimbursement is requested from the patient’s insurer. Remittance records relate to the claims submitted and include the information the insurer provided back to the medical professional, including the data related to payment of the claims and/or the reject reasons, should the claims have been rejected by the insurer. Veradigm’s Medical Claims and Remittances are submitted electronically using EDI 837/835 transactions.

This listing uses a single pricing dimension. You get Product Access measured in units, offered at no cost. There are no tiers, instance sizes, or usage add-ons to compare. One dimension grants subscribers access to the product. The remittances (835) capability handles Electronic Remittance Advice as part of an EDI gateway that moves claims, eligibility, and payment data between payers and provider networks. Because pricing is free, there is no charge that scales with volume or quantity under this dimension.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one unit of Product Access for billing?
One unit grants a subscriber access to the Remittances (835) capability. Because this dimension is offered at no cost, the unit count does not create a charge. It simply enables access to the Electronic Remittance Advice function within the EDI gateway.
Does my cost change as remittance transaction volume grows?
No. This dimension is free, so cost does not scale with the number of Electronic Remittance Advice transactions processed. Whether you handle a low or high volume of remits through the gateway, the Product Access dimension carries no per-transaction or per-volume charge.
What does the Remittances (835) capability actually cover?
It handles Electronic Remittance Advice, the payment and adjustment detail returned to providers after claims adjudication. It is part of an EDI gateway that also moves eligibility, claim submission, status, and attachment transactions. This listing's free dimension grants access to that remittance function.
