This server provides extensive customization options, including client configuration, traffic routing, and integration with third-party authentication systems like RADIUS or LDAP. Its low resource overhead allows for high-throughput performance even in demanding environments, making it suitable for both small deployments and enterprise-scale VPN solutions.
Whether you need to secure remote access to your AWS workloads or connect distributed cloud resources, this VPN Server offers the flexibility, scalability, and protection your infrastructure needs.

You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run this VPN Server on. Each dimension maps to one AWS instance type, so pricing scales with the compute resources you choose. Smaller types like t2.nano and t3.micro suit light use. Larger types in the m4, m5, m5a, m5ad, m5d, m5dn, and m5n families, up to 24xlarge and metal sizes, handle heavier throughput. Billing runs only while an instance is active, so cost follows the size and hours you use. Pick one instance type per deployment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for this VPN Server?
One hourly unit maps to one running EC2 instance of the type you pick. The software runs on a single virtual machine. You are billed per hour that instance stays active, regardless of how many VPN users you create on it.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or powered off?
Software charges accrue per hour only while the instance runs. A stopped or powered-off instance does not accrue software fees. Note that stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage costs, which are separate from this listing's hourly software charge.
Does creating more VPN users increase my hourly cost?
No. Cost is driven only by the instance type and hours you run, not by user count. You create users on the server through a setup command. Adding users does not change the hourly rate; a larger instance type is the way to handle heavier load.
