Ribbon provides a 90 day warranty on software. If there are problems (bugs) found in our software they will be reviewed and fixed. Refunds will be only be considered after all other options are exhausted.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Before deploy: The Ribbon SBC has several resource pre-requisites that must be made available prior to deployment. Refer to the pre-requisites section for your selected template on RBBN SBC CloudFormation Templates on GitHub for more information. After deploy: Wait approximately 10-15 minutes before logging in to allow the SBC to come into service. By default, only key-based login is supported. If password-based login is required (e.g. for admin cli or EMA access) then it must be enabled. To enable password login support SSH as admin to the management IP of the SBC using the admin key provided at launch. and execute these commands to enable the admin user for password-based login: config set oam localAuth user admin passwordLoginSupport enabled commit Note: Port 22 on the SBC is used to login to the SBC CLI administration and not linux shell. Login on Port 22 is only accepted if the SBC application is inservice and active. Access to linux shell is available on port 2024 with user linuxadmin using ssh key provided at instance launch.
