Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

What do you like best about the product?
At first, I was hesitant to gather multiple services on a single platform, but Posthog ended up pleasantly surprising me. Having features like "CDP", logs, and screen recordings centralized in one place really makes the work much easier. Additionally, the ability to create SOURCES and DESTINATIONS is another very positive point.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can sometimes seem childish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of implementing all the features that Posthog offers is a great advantage. If I chose other tools, I would have to resort to three different providers, each with its own technical documentation model, which would make the process much more complicated.

What do you like best about the product?
This platform sets itself apart with its developer-friendly design and a broad array of features and products. I find the web analytics tools to be particularly strong, as they streamline campaign management and deliver valuable insights. The integration of Max AI is another standout for me; its context-aware capabilities often let me avoid wading through lengthy documentation and help me complete tasks more efficiently. However, the AI does occasionally make mistakes, which is to be expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
While PostHog is powerful, the lack of deeper SQL-based dashboard customization makes it less accessible for non-technical users. Performance can occasionally lag when handling very large datasets, and I’d like to see further optimization and data visualization improvements in future updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog helps me bring all kinds of analytics together in one place, from event-based tracking to user behaviour insights and product metrics. Instead of juggling multiple tools, I can manage and analyse everything within a single platform. This makes it much easier to understand how users interact with our product and make data-driven improvements faster.

ui can very intimidating and complex it's not clear how to use certain features

The platform provides me with valuable analytics on how my app is being used, which I find very beneficial. Additionally, I appreciate the pricing structure.

we have put together an agentic chatbot on whatsapp. PostHog helps us with analytics and tracking for every single AI interaction. We also started using it for feature management on our chatbot service

I find PostHog to be incredibly easy to use and appreciate its user-friendly interface. The extensive toolset feels like getting significant value for money. The unique and inviting design enhances the overall experience. I'm impressed by the thorough feature for setting up experiments, which rivals even Google Optimize. The session recording and experiment features are particularly impressive. PostHog offers valuable insights into my portfolio's user engagement and helps optimize strategies effectively.

I feel like the range of products PostHog offers can be overwhelming. While it provides a wide array of tools, navigating through all these options can be a bit complex and might benefit from a simplification.
