    MCP

    Overview

The Outreach MCP Server connects AI assistants and agents to your Outreach AI Revenue Platform, enabling natural-language access to accounts, prospects, opportunities, sequences, emails, calendar events, Kaia call recordings, and users — all under the signed-in user's identity and permissions.

    Prerequisites

    • An active Outreach license with API access
    • An MCP-enabled client (Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT/Codex, AWS or any MCP-compatible AI agent)
    • OAuth 2.1 Dynamic Client Registration

    Connection setup

    1. In your MCP-enabled client, add a new MCP server connection.
    2. Enter the server URL: <https://api.outreach.io/mcp>
    3. Sign in with your Outreach credentials when prompted. The OAuth 2.1 flow redirects you to Outreach for consent, then back to your client.
    4. Authorize the requested scopes.

Once connected, the AI agent can discover and call Outreach tools on your behalf.

    Capabilities

The server exposes tools across these domains:

    • Search and retrieval — accounts, prospects, opportunities, sequences, mailings, calendar events, Kaia call recordings, users
    • Workflow actions — add prospects to sequences, log activities, update opportunity stages, create tasks
    • Discovery — list opportunity stages, sequence templates, available users

All actions run under the authenticated user's Outreach identity and respect their role-based permissions.

    Example prompts

    • "Help me prepare for my next call with Acme"
    • "Generate a best practice guide for each feature discussed in the last meeting with Acme"
    • "What sequences from our customer conference have the best reactions, and what are they?"
    • "Tell me Contoso's concerns around our solution and how I should combat that?"

The agent plans, calls the right Outreach tools, and returns results.

    Authentication

    • OAuth 2.1 Dynamic Client Registration
    • Sessions remain active as long as refresh tokens are honored by your Outreach instance
    • All requests run on behalf of the signed-in user — no shared service accounts

    Known limitations

    • Write operations are subject to your Outreach role-based permissions
    • Rate limits follow standard Outreach API quotas

Consistent sales activity flow with helpful AI call notes and next steps

    Reviewed on Sep 24, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It’s a great tool to have a consistent outflow of activities in relation to sales. The features I use are easy ways to come back to conversations and get quick updates on where a lead is at in those conversations. I’ve also used the AI to help craft emails and tasks, and it’s frequently useful for generating call notes and next steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Calendar management, chat/messaging, and reporting & statistics haven’t been useful for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My outreach has been much more consistent, and I can quickly get updates on where a lead is in conversations. The AI has helped by generating call notes and next steps, and by helping craft emails and tasks.

Easy to use with great data, but setup with our system was frustrating

    Reviewed on Sep 24, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use and provides great data. I also like the reporting features like custom reports, dashboards, and goal setting/tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup with our system was frustrating. The third-party integrations were also a weak spot for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made my outreach slightly more consistent. Deal and pipeline insights sometimes flagged the right deals, but the AI was only ok and rarely surfaced useful guidance or follow-up.

More consistent outreach with standardized sequences, but calendar sync and reporting lag

    Reviewed on Sep 24, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It made my outreach much more consistent by standardizing sequences, automating follow-ups, and making sure fewer prospects fell through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Calendar sync can be unreliable. Autonomous task execution needs more control and transparency, and reporting feels cumbersome when I’m trying to get actionable insights quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My outreach became much more consistent, with automated follow-ups and fewer prospects falling through the cracks.

AI agents made my multichannel outreach more consistent, but only sometimes useful

    Reviewed on Sep 24, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like the AI agents that manage multi-channel workflows, identify high-value target accounts, and automate repetitive sales tasks like prospecting, lead qualification, and data enrichment. It made outreach much more consistent, especially for account targeting (using firmographic, technographic, intent, and behavioral signals), prospecting, and data enrichment (filling in or verifying titles, emails, phone numbers, and company attributes).
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI assistance for meetings and conversations is only sometimes useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My outreach became much more consistent. It helped with identifying ICP-fit accounts, finding relevant contacts and researching companies automatically, enriching prospect data, and scoring/routing prospects based on ICP and buying signals.
