Try this product free for 30 days according to the free trial terms set by the vendor. Usage-based pricing is in effect for usage beyond the free trial terms. Your free trial gets automatically converted to a paid subscription when the trial ends, but may be canceled any time before that.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for a hardened Adobe ColdFusion (2025 Release) machine image running on Windows. Pricing is not tiered by features. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific Amazon EC2 instance type. Your hourly software rate depends on which instance you choose. Smaller instances like t3.nano and t3.micro carry lower hourly rates. Larger compute, memory, storage, and GPU instances such as m5.4xlarge, x2iezn.4xlarge, or g6e.4xlarge carry higher rates. You scale cost by matching the instance size to your workload. AWS infrastructure charges apply separately from this software fee.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit include when I run a ColdFusion instance?
Each unit is one running hour of the hardened Adobe ColdFusion machine image on your chosen Amazon EC2 instance type. The rate covers the ColdFusion software licence and Coalesce hardening. AWS compute, storage, and network charges for the instance are billed separately by AWS.
Am I charged the software fee when my instance is stopped or powered off?
The hourly software fee meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the ColdFusion software charge. You may still pay AWS for attached storage while the instance is stopped, since that is a separate AWS infrastructure cost, not the software licence.
How do the software charge and the AWS instance charge combine on my bill?
Both charges accrue at the same time for each running hour and appear together. The Coalesce software rate depends on the instance type you pick. The underlying AWS compute and storage cost is billed separately by AWS. Larger instances raise both charges; stopping the instance halts the software charge.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
