AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You license XetaBase Variant Store through three contract options. The Annual Licence covers one year of use, while the Monthly Licence covers one month. Both let you choose the quantity of units you need. The separate 1 seat option licenses access on a per-seat basis. You pick a term length that fits your commitment period, then scale by adding units or seats. This structure lets you match spending to how long you plan to run the platform and how many users or units you require.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one unit versus one seat for billing?
A seat licenses one user's access to the platform. Units measure your licensed capacity of the Variant Store itself, which you scale to your data and workload needs. You choose seat count for user access and unit quantity for platform capacity, billing each separately.
How does the Annual Licence differ from the Monthly Licence for the same capacity?
Both license the same Variant Store, but over different commitment periods. The Annual Licence covers 12 months. The Monthly Licence covers one month. You still select the quantity of units under either term. A monthly term suits shorter projects; an annual term suits continuous, year-round use.
What happens to my cost as my genomic dataset grows over time?
The platform scales from a single sample to hundreds of thousands of genomes and billions of variants. Cost tracks the unit quantity you license, not automatic overage. To handle more data or add users, you increase the units or seats on your contract.

Precision medicine refers to the use of prevention and treatment strategies that are tailored to the unique features of each individual and their disease. In the context of cancer this might involve the identification of specific mutations shown to predict response to a targeted therapy. The biomedical literature describing these associations is large and growing rapidly. Currently these interpretations exist largely in private or encumbered databases resulting in extensive repetition of effort. Realizing precision medicine will require this information to be centralized, debated and interpreted for application in the clinic. CIViC is an open access, open source, community-driven web resource for Clinical Interpretation of Variants in Cancer. Our goal is to enable precision medicine by providing an educational forum for dissemination of knowledge and active discussion of the clinical significance of cancer genome alterations.
