What do you like best about the product?
We use bright data via the bright initiative. The product is robust, scales very well, and provides simple APIs that meet our needs. The contacts at the bright initiative have been tremendously responsive and supported our mission from start to finish!
What do you dislike about the product?
Bright data exposes API keys very easily, which would pose a security concern if we had a credit card attached to the account. They don't provide fine-grained permissioning either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are scraping advanced medical data.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Bright Data for scientific research and I like the ease of use and customization. I also find that the initial setup was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
They could improve the explanation of the tools they have available. Many are very good and could be made more visible.

I use Bright Data to automate the scraping of various sources in scientific research projects.

What do you like best about the product?
In our experience, we did not encounter any significant downsides. The service was reliable, straightforward to set up, and fulfilled our performance requirements. We did not face any technical or usability problems that would have required workarounds. Integration with data collected through the Google Places API worked smoothly. Customer Support was always accessible and we were encouraged to reach out if necessary, though we never found it needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our use case, there were no meaningful downsides. The service behaved predictably, was easy to configure, and met performance expectations. We did not encounter technical or usability issues that would require workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data solved the problem of scalable, reliable collection of public Google Maps data for hospitals in Poland. It removed the need to build and maintain custom scraping infrastructure, handle blocking, or manage proxy rotation. This significantly reduced engineering effort and enabled rapid data acquisition at scale, making large-scale review analysis feasible within tight time constraints.

What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data's tools have enabled our software contractors to quickly add high quality data. Their rotating IP and post extractor services have made our extraction process easier and better. Their team is also easy to communicate with and responsive!
What do you dislike about the product?
For all the tools we have used, we have yet to hit an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data easily abstracts and implements rotating IPs which helps us for content extraction at scale. Bright Data's post extraction tools are easy to use and experiment with.
