Bright Data delivers a robust, all-in-one platform for web data extraction, proxy management, and automated scraping at scale. The infrastructure supports over 150 million proxy IPs from 195 countries, offering extensive geo-targeting, session management, and rotation options.
The Web Scraper API and Scraping Browser provide programmatic and no-code access to structured web data, with built-in AI algorithms for data cleaning and structuring. The Web Unlocker tool effectively bypasses anti-bot mechanisms, ensuring high success rates even on challenging websites. Serverless functions and ready-made templates streamline the setup for common scraping tasks, reducing engineering overhead.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data has enabled us to bypass complex bot protection mechanisms and access publicly available data at scale without building custom infrastructure from scratch. The ability to collect, clean, and analyze large datasets efficiently has accelerated our research and decision-making processes. For enterprise teams requiring granular control, reliability, and compliance, Bright Data stands out as a comprehensive solution for web data collection and analysis.

Reliable Partnership and Responsive Support for Research-Driven Web Scraping on Human trafficking
What do you like best about the product?
In the first phase of my research, I used Bright Data’s services to scrape data from the AdultWork website in the United Kingdom. The extracted data played a critical role in analyzing trafficking-related indicators and the illicit massage industry. What stood out to me the most was the prompt delivery and the consistently responsive support from the Bright Data team.
As I move into the next phase of my research—I will be re-visiting the dataset for training classification models using this data. Currently, working with Bright Data to customize a scraper for a related study. We, at Bar Ilan University deeply value their work and look forward to continuing this partnership in future projects. I believe this partnership reinforces my research in time and efficiency to target social, policy and technological contributions to the data-driven methodologies in combating the crime of human trafficking.

As a PhD researcher on Anti human trafficking efforts that requires data, Bright Data helps in navigating the data needs at ease.

What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data provided and advised me on the most efficient data collection solution in terms of both speed and cost. The support was very enthusiastic and dedicated.

I needed to get data from Google in large quantities, with limited resources and fast speed. Bright Data supported me in providing a solution.
Great product, strong technical support and super useful web-scraping tool
What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data offers truly excellent technical products and customer support, for many use cases around accessing valuable web data. The technology behind it seems amazing to me, and my needs were met perfectly with infrastructure that is easy to use and code that is easy to write. The customer support was also very timely and excellent. Whenever I emailed them with a technical question, they always replied promptly with answers that solved my exact problem. They also provide financial support to impact-driven research that use their tools, and aim to be a force for societal good.

I like everything about using Bright Data.

Bright Data helped me with data collection for my research. It helped me solve technical challenges in collecting web data that no other company has been able to.

Bright Data allows the collection of comprehensive social media data that can be used as the basis for meaningful and statistically reliable research. The interface is easy to understand and their helpline and costumer support is outstanding

What do you like best about the product?
The product itself does the job pretty well. Both the Web Unlocker API and the Browser API were easy to integrate and worked as advertised.
While having a problem with the Web Unlocker API, I contacted the customer support and immediately received competent help from an expert. The problem was resolved fairly quickly and without having to put pressure on the support.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was a problem with the Web Unlocker API, which we were able to work around until the issue was resolved. As the customer service was very responsive, I wouldn't say this was a big problem in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Bright Data to bypass bot protection mechanisms on websites to access publicly available data. Instead of trying to build our own infrastructure around that we have been using the Web Unlocker API and the Browser API by Bright Data to achieve that.
The Leader in Scraping
What do you like best about the product?
How easily it works, we spend years trying to build our own collectors with mixed results. They're adding new code and no-code prebuilt collectors which make the work so simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
We needed to outsource collector creation to a partner company in order to own the code, having Bright Data build it for us would have been ideal, but we would not have been able to own the scripts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a complex and robust operation of collecting information from various sites simultaneously. This was not easy to develop ourselves, but Bright Data makes it super easy to build and maintain collectors that simply work as expected.

I was really impressed by the quality and stability of the service.
The Support team was responsible and helped to clarify all my documentation questions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Everything was good. Of course, I had some questions about functionality initially, but support team helped me on those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Data Extraction area usually I had a problem with stability of instruments, since you need to maintain everything to be up-to-date. So, if it is possible to outsource that to someone who can make it good and professionally - that is really helpful.
We finally got our data collection under control
What do you like best about the product?
High quality and scalable data collection is what Bright Data brings the table. Its proxy network is so robust that using it to bypass geo restrictions is more than seamless. For instance, if a website you want to scrape is accessible only in a given country, Bright Data is an excellent choice. Another standout piece is the integration features that the tool has – they are easy to integrate with several tools and platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it’s priced a bit steep for small businesses or individual use users. It would be nice if we could get something other pricing tiers or discounts if it’s for long term. Further, some of the more advanced features are steep to learn. The basic functionalities are easy to use, but customizing the deeper options takes some bit of time. However, the documentation is fortunately quite comprehensive, but could use some more beginner friendly tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Bright Data, the process of gathering data from various sources was tedious and time consuming. I had to manually setup proxies and get frequently IP banned. Bright Data is all in order now. With the automated proxy management, data collection does not go into hiatus. It is not only made my life easier because it has made my productivity much better, it has helped me better concentrate to analyze the data instead of thinking about technical issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Some document is outdated like the best practice section, wait_any() can't set timeout, the advanced usage of wait() for multiple elements.
2. The document is insufficient to help developers to solve complicated cases like collecting data from multiple stages. Looks like it can only run all the stages serially. There is no way to collect the data of all the children stages in the root stage.
3. Not easy to debug for multiple stages. The only way to test multiple stages is Initiate Mannually. But it doesn't provide any run logs.
4. Can't jump to output schema in the Code editor page.
5. Not easy to check the mismatched part between the result and output schema.
6. Not able to detect captcha automatically as described in the document. It needs to check the captcha object manually for sometime.
