Exceptional Support with Smooth Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how prompt and always available Bright Data's staff are. Even when an agent doesn't have an immediate answer, they give it their best to resolve the problem. Bright Data has exceptional customer support, and their whole team collaborates with the best interest of the client in mind. This level of support makes it easy to expect good customer service. Bright Data's customer support is truly the best in class, which is a huge reason why we are not looking elsewhere for an alternative vendor. Additionally, the setup has been quite easy, the technology and documentation on Bright Data's website are very intuitive, the data is provided really quickly, and the whole process is quite smooth. The size of their database is one of the biggest, and their pricing is very cost-effective compared to some of its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing, to be honest, is that at the present, they only return a gzip file format for compressed information. Unfortunately, we require it in a ZIP format. It does mean that we have to build quite a little bit of technology to accommodate with our needs. But what they have said is that they are going to send that to the engineering team to potentially consider that for a future improvement on the roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Bright Data to get specific employee data to improve the 360-degree view of companies, filling a data gap we had.
Intuitive Interface with Accessible Data Options
What do you like best about the product?
I find accessing the data through Bright Data to be pretty intuitive. I'm very grateful that we got access to the data for free. The different options to cut the data being shown from the start is very useful. Also, the initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, we were a little confused about whether we could simply collect a certain number of a given sample or if we needed to cut the dataset to stay within our budget. Specifically, we only had the budget for roughly 1.1 million profiles. We weren't sure if we needed to filter the dataset to collect less than 1.1 million or if there was a way to just limit it to 1.1 million. Eventually, we clicked the button to go forward with the purchase, and only there did we find the option to limit the sample size. The lack of visibility confused us for a little bit. Also, lacking skills data from LinkedIn profiles is a big pain, but I understand that's probably a LinkedIn TOS issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data lets me access LinkedIn user data despite scraping restrictions and offers intuitive access with useful options to filter datasets. It's beneficial that the access was free.
Perfect Data Solution for Academic Research
What do you like best about the product?
I use Bright Data to collect information on firm strategies related to job postings. I find it extremely valuable because it provides data that's hard to obtain otherwise, highly reducing my workload by not having to create a web scraper from scratch. I like that the datasets are already set up and searchable. I also appreciate that Bright Data has AI features for filtering, which makes initial data overview processes much faster and more efficient. The DeepLook feature is great for taking an in-depth look at data varieties. Additionally, the scale of the data is impressive, helping to measure phenomena not easily captured by traditional surveys. I find the initial setup to be super easy and intuitive.

User-Friendly Interface with Powerful SERP Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly Bright Data is. The interface is very clean and easy to navigate. I also appreciate that Bright Data always delivers some cool stuff, like preparing the SERP scraping infrastructure using different AI tools, which is really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think that it will be fair to say that something is bad on the Bright Data's side. Overall, you just need to have at least some level of technical knowledge in order to operate with this solution.

Bright Data’s Versatile Tools and Easy UI Facilitate Research
What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data offers a variety of tools that help with a wide range of challenges. We’ve found that when we run into an unexpected problem, Bright Data already has a tool or resource that can address it directly. The UI is also easy to use, and there are plenty of guides that walk us through using new tools or approaches we may not have tried before. The customer service has also been great. Our questions are answered promptly and fully, and our representative is easy to talk with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it’s hard to know which tool or process is the best solution for a given challenge, because there’s so much to sort through. In many cases, several tools could address our problem, but we don’t really know the most effective route until we’ve tried a couple of options. There are plenty of guides on how to use the tools, but there’s much less guidance on choosing the right tool in the first place. Additionally, when downloading a large snapshot it will ask you to try again in 10 seconds but in reality you will need to wait 30 minutes or more to download the snapshot. A better time estimate or an actual timer of when the snapshot is ready would be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a research institute and our lifeblood is data. Current, accurate, and readily available information is essential to our work. Pre-assembled datasets that reflect up-to-date conditions can be difficult to obtain, yet impactful research that informs policymakers and the public must be both timely and accurate. Bright Data allows us to collect data from live websites, so we can build our own datasets with current information for relevant analysis.
In addition, Alaska-specific datasets are very rare due to the state’s small population, the challenges of collecting data across geographically remote areas, and the relatively slow adoption of digitalization. Only within the last 10 years or so has much of Alaska begun to develop a digital footprint, and these valuable data are necessary for Alaskan communities and leaders to make informed decisions. Bright Data enables us to gather the latest data and create unique datasets that benefit our communities.

Effortless Web Scraping with Unmatched Accuracy
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Bright Data has a much lower error rate compared to other solutions available. They keep up with trends well by developing new features like MCP, which seems promising. Their AI functionality is really helpful for building automations and they make it easy for non-techy people like me to get into web scraping easier. It’s great that they've lowered the barrier for using their service. The price is also at a good level, which I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
As long as the error volumes are low and the price is affordable, it's totally fine to live with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Bright Data to automate complex web scraping, saving us time for event preps. It allows scraping across thousands of pages and locations, and supports our growth strategy. The tool simplifies scraping for non-techy users and offers a lower error rate than competitors.
