Bright Data’s AI-Powered Scarpers, Flexible API, Smooth Onboarding, and Best-in-Class Proxy Infra

    Reviewed on Jul 30, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Great diverse proxy infrastructure with all level – from super affordable to super stable and a bit more expensive.

Very thoughtfully made API for integrations with highest level of flexibility we've seen in the market.

Great user interface that allows even non-tech users create scrapers with a little help of AI built into product.

Onboarding is super smooth thanks to how-to videos, great UX, documentation. 10/10 here – rare example in the market.

The company Is on top of all the changes in the data extraction world. We use multiple proxy infra, scarring tools simultaneously and always see how Bright Data ship features months in advance compared t other vendors.

I also appreciate the ethical approach BD has , which might be inconvenient short term but long term gives you a reliable tested data handling partner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if it's the problem of our overall data tracking architecture (yet we do use parallel-running scrapers), 3rd party platforms we extract data from, or it's the BD's side – but sometimes it takes too long to complete the job
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data helps us extract data from Cloud Flare - powered sites automatically, without having to babysitting workflows and do things manually. We have workflows running on the AI agent side, as well as wishing low-code automation tools (Make + n8n) and we then pull the structured dat into our database and do manipulations from there.
For some automations we also use BD's built in automated browsing capabilities to access to hardest sites and extracts data from there.

Bright Data: Stable, Fast Proxy Infrastructure with Cost-Effective Pricing and Great Support

    Reviewed on Jul 25, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data gives us the level of stability that other Proxy infrastructure providers never give – we get job done much faster. Even more, we pay only for succesfull requests so the tool is cost effective too. The cherry on top is their AI scraping builders that are trained on their platform capabilities and give more stable code vs. just trying to get the same orchestration from ChatGPT/Claude. And when you face issues – their support team can always help with advice.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are limited with scraping data from several sources – and even though our approach is purely ethical, because we're small – we are not really able to get certain sites to work for us too (in terms of data extraction/validation)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We keep an eye on competitors, we track changes in forms – so we work with the latest ones and give our customers proper documents to apply. We track changes in important laws and legal practices so we provide clients valuable data. And we also integrate all that with n8n and Claude to get all that automatically.

Incredible Service Quality with Great Customer Support

    Reviewed on Jul 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the service is incredible, and the customer service is excellent. They also have a vast and stable network, ensuring that the proxy pool remains uncluttered. Additionally, they adhere to strict compliance measures, which I appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few downsides. However, the only issue is they wont let you buy more zones. They work very well with you to reduce costs for enterprise clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before implementing Bright Data, we struggled with frequent blocks and routing failures during automated data collection, but now we can seamlessly manage large-scale proxy pools through our custom routing server infrastructure, which has resulted in 99.9% uptime and zero compliance bottlenecks.

We used to spend countless hours debugging unstable proxy connections and compliance issues, but implementing Bright Data's proxy network has allowed us to automate our high-volume workflows effortlessly while ensuring strict adherence to target site protocols and data guidelines.

Bright Data: Easy UI, Streamlined Onboarding, and Powerful AI Scraping Agents

    Reviewed on Jul 21, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Tested over 15 different options for competitor website/product monitoring and eventually ended up with Bright Data as it provides the best and easy-to-use user interface, streamlined on-boarding (with tonns of useful articles/videos), affordable pricing, powerful AI features for building scraping agents, and have multiple locations that extend my scraping capabilities with the attachment to Geo-locations
What do you dislike about the product?
The only limitation I can think of is they only allow purely ethical approaches, so might not be the best solution for shady-type scraping folks (not our case).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It scrapes websites of our competitors on a schedule and outputs data in a structured format; it builds automations for us, and provides proxy infrastructure used on the backend

Reliable Datasets and Exceptional Support for Academic Research

    Reviewed on Jul 15, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I find most valuable about Bright Data is the access they provide to reliable datasets. As an academic, obtaining high-quality data is not always easy, especially when conducting research intended to improve teaching practices. Having access to dependable and relevant data has therefore been a significant benefit.

I have also greatly appreciated being connected with Dani, who has been an exceptional partner throughout the process. She walked me through the platform, helped me access the data needed for our project, and worked closely with us to identify additional datasets that could support our research.

Academics are often balancing research with demanding teaching and personal responsibilities, so projects do not always progress according to the original timeline. There were occasions when our data credits were approaching expiration before we had been able to fully use them. The team was patient, flexible, and understanding, working with us to extend or update access without placing unnecessary pressure on us.

The quarterly check-ins have also been extremely helpful. They provide a valuable sense of accountability as we work toward producing publishable research, while also creating opportunities to discuss any additional data needs. Overall, I am very grateful for the team’s responsiveness, flexibility, and genuine commitment to supporting academic research.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little that I dislike about Bright Data, particularly because this initiative is designed to help nonprofit institutions and academics gain access to reliable data.

At the same time, no dataset is perfect. For example, the LinkedIn dataset primarily contains recent job postings and offers limited archival data. Historical postings would be especially valuable for research examining how employer signals and workforce expectations have changed over time. However, this limitation does not appear to be specific to Bright Data. It largely reflects the nature of the source platform, since LinkedIn job postings expire and may no longer be available for collection.

I also appreciated Dani’s responsiveness in helping us explore alternatives. When we discussed the limitations of the LinkedIn data, she suggested that we consider an Indeed dataset that might better support our research needs. Overall, the limitations I encountered were primarily associated with the platforms from which the data were collected rather than with Bright Data itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data is addressing one of the most significant challenges academics face: access to reliable data. I would even go so far as to describe the initiative as a godsend. When I initially contacted Bright Data, I was prepared to purchase the data. Instead, the team reached out to let me know that I might qualify for an initiative that provides nonprofit organizations and academic researchers with access to data for research purposes.

Data access can be extremely difficult and costly, and these constraints sometimes force academics to pursue research based on what data are readily available rather than the questions that are most important. Bright Data has enabled me to investigate questions that have direct implications for students, universities, and teaching practices.

My research was motivated by the rapid democratization of data analytics and artificial intelligence. As generative AI became embedded in many of the tools used by business analysts, my students became increasingly concerned about their futures. Some came to my office and asked whether they should still major in business analytics now that the tools used in the profession are increasingly powered by generative AI. As their professor, I felt that I should have answers, but I did not yet have evidence-based answers.

That experience motivated me to study employer signals and better understand the competencies organizations are seeking in an AI-enabled workplace. Bright Data has been an invaluable partner in pursuing that objective. I am deeply grateful for the access to data, the ongoing support, and the opportunity to conduct research that may help universities better prepare students for the future of work. I look forward to continuing the partnership, analyzing the data, and discovering what the evidence reveals.

Easy to Use, but tricky to troubleshoot

    Reviewed on Jul 10, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like Bright Data because it works well and is easy to use. It made things simpler for our marketing functions as we needed the ability to post from specific IPs, which helped us a lot. The initial setup was very easy, which is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rotating feature is less intuitive and feels fiddly when something needs fixing. Also, troubleshooting is manual, and I wish it was automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Bright Data helps in marketing by allowing posting from specific IPs, which is crucial for us.

Easy to Understand, Quick Integration, and a Great Bright Initiative Program

    Reviewed on Jul 08, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The product range works as described and is easy to understand. The Bright Initiative program is also great for public interest work. Integration with our existing tools was quick and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
More transparency on the types of proxies used and how they were sourced would be helpful (i.e., on a per-use level).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to be able to obtain data from a large number of web sites that behave differently and surface different information based on location and network source. Bright Data helps us do this efficiently from a single point.
