Experience working with Bright Data
What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data has been instrumental in providing the data for my research, significantly aiding my progress. Its easy use even for non-programmers and the customer support has been exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data scrapped is not completely vetted and needs to be carefully reviewed before use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me collect data for one of research projects that otherwsie would have taken a lot of time, effort and money.

Simple and effective service for web scraping
What do you like best about the product?
I think that BrightData offers an affordable service which was easy to set up and use. I have an automated scraping routine which I run continuously, making about 8 requests every three minutes. For my purposes, the datacenter proxies work great. I found the educational materials on the site helpful. I also appreciate the support offered by the platform if needed, even though I have not used this extensively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there is a slight learning curve in using the datacenter proxies in Python, but once I got the hang of it everything was pretty straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrightData is allowing me to scrape novel data continuously at a large scale. This data will be a key component of my research project, which studies consumer utilization of electric vehicle fast charging networks.

What I appreciate the most about Bright Data is the large pool of technological infrustractures they provide to their clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably they fail to show pre made demos that can highlight prons of cons of each solution they offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrightData helps us to reach websites that can't be accessed from the UK. They also provide a useful technology (Web Unlocker) that allows use to navigate through web pages and fetch the data we need.
Best proxy service on market
What do you like best about the product?
The team, the products and their efforts for the society, it's easy to use and easy to implement. the customer support team is the best, we had multiple conversations, they support different types of proxy services which helped us to integrate our code. We used this on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the commercial side they can have more promo programs

They helped us not to reach API rate limit or scraping block.

What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity of the user interface of the admin panel/dashboard can be improved. I have been using it for more than a year now and I have seen it improving all this time. Looking forward get a better UX from the panel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I consume multiple services from Bright data like web-unblocker service, their vast Proxy network, residential proxies, scraping browser and more.
These services benefit me by providing timely data solutions. Accuracy and efficiency of data collection is higher than other proxy services that I have personally used, thereby saving me a lot of time and resources.

Great proxy platform for Internet research
What do you like best about the product?
Bright Data provides an unique web/HTML content collection and processing platform, its great geo and network coverage always provide great value for research projects. It is also very easy to use, once your proxy is setupped, thge example commandline can be a very practical bootstrap to be one part of your project.
While I am working one my project, I need to fine tune the proxy script daily, and it works very well. It is also very easy to integrate the proxy with other tools, such as selenium or other dummy browsers.
The best part is the customer support, the technique support is very timely and knowledagable about their product, and can always provide great suggestions.

Although the technique support can always help with our needs. I like to find answer by reading documents, but Bright Data did not have a community or open document for searching for help.

Bright Data provide great network and geo coverage in HTTP proxies, so that we can utilize this and do great Internet research and measurement.

I relied on their LinkedIn database in my academic research. They made the whole process of accessing their data very smooth. Their interface is very user friendly.

Onboarding to use the interface requires a lengthy zoom call.

I use Bright Data to collect data on employment in Israeli high-tech. The database covers a large portion of the employees in the industry, is frequently updated, and is straightforward to access.
