Overview
SigNoz is a full-stack observability tool built natively for OpenTelemetry or OTel. With OTel's auto-instrumentation SDKs for most of the popular programming languages, like Java, Python, Golang, and JavaScript, it's easy to get started with SigNoz.
Key features of SigNoz: APM & distributed tracing: Get out-of-the-box charts for key application metrics like p99 latency, error rate, Apdex, and operations per second. You can also monitor the database and external calls made from your application. With distributed tracing, you can track user requests across services to help you identify performance bottlenecks.
Centralized log management: Send all your logs to SigNoz. Instantly search through all your logs using quick filters and a powerful query builder. You can also create charts on your logs and monitor them with customized dashboards.
Infrastructure monitoring: Monitor your hosts or Kubernetes infra with charts for key infra metrics. You can also correlate your metrics with logs and traces.
Alerting and Anomaly Detection: Set threshold-based alerts on metrics, logs, traces, and exceptions. For metrics, use anomaly detection to catch unexpected deviations from historical patterns.
Exceptions Monitoring: Automatically monitor exceptions in Python, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript. For other languages, just drop in a few lines of code and start monitoring exceptions. See the detailed stack trace for all exceptions caught in your application. You can also log in custom attributes to add more context to your exceptions.
Other Notable features:
External API monitoring - Track third-party API performance. Messaging Queue Monitoring - Monitor messaging queues like Kafka and Celery with out-of-the-box dashboards. Trace Funnels - Create funnels from collected traces to track step-by-step completion. LLM Observability - Track AI workflows, RAG pipelines, and agents alongside microservices.
Why engineering teams choose SigNoz? One-stop observability tool: SigNoz is a one-stop observability tool. You don't have to send your logs, metrics, and traces to different destinations. Using a single tool for all your observability needs empowers engineering teams to troubleshoot issues faster. It also saves a lot of developer bandwidth in setting up and getting started with robust observability.
OpenTelemetry-native: OTel frees you from vendor lock-in. It has become the de facto standard for instrumenting cloud-native applications. Once your application is instrumented with OTel, you can send your telemetry data to any OTel-compatible backend. SigNoz is built on top of OTel from day 1. It's the best choice for visualizing OTel data.
Simple usage-based pricing: Get predictability in your observability bills with simple usage-based pricing ($0.3 per GB of logs and traces, $0.1 per million samples). No user-based pricing, no host or container-based pricing, no special pricing for custom metrics. Only pay for the amount of data you send, and add unlimited team members to empower your entire team with observability.
Enterprise-Grade Security: SigNoz is SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA-compliant, with data centers in the US, EU, and India to meet your data residency requirements.
