ETOS GateKeeper (EGK) is an operational AI Decision Assurance platform designed for organisations moving from AI-enabled and autonomous operations toward Assured Autonomy.
As AI systems become capable of reasoning, recommending and acting at machine speed, traditional governance cannot rely on humans reviewing every decision. The challenge shifts from whether AI can act to whether a specific consequential decision has sufficient evidence, authority and governance to proceed.
EGK provides an independent assurance layer between AI intent and consequential execution.
For each decision, EGK evaluates the evidence available, applicable requirements, established authority, unresolved dependencies and exceptions, and determines whether the proposed consequence is sufficiently assured to proceed. Missing or anticipated evidence is not treated as established evidence, and capability is not treated as authority.
This enables organisations to preserve autonomous operation where assurance conditions are satisfied while escalating exceptions and unresolved decisions for appropriate human review.
EGK supports the transition to Level 6 - Assured Autonomy: an operating state in which consequential AI decisions can be independently assured at machine speed before execution.

One Assurance Credit equals one completed governed assurance output returned to an authorised user or agent. A credit is drawn when a determination like GO, CONDITIONAL GO, INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE, ESCALATE or NO-GO is returned. Failed, blocked, or rejected calls are not billable and do not consume a credit.
The service warns you at 75% and 90% of your allowance. At 100%, requests return CREDIT_EXHAUSTED with no execution, no charge and no downstream processing. There is no automatic overage billing. Adding capacity always requires explicit action — the service never charges you automatically for exceeding the allowance.
All agents in an organisation draw on one shared credit pool. The organisation is resolved from each credential, never from the request body. Registered agents call the Agent Assurance API under organisation-resolved credentials. People use the web portal and assistant. Every output draws from the same pool regardless of who or what requested it.
