ScalarDL is a distributed ledger software that employs a unique consensus protocol to ensure strong data security, particularly regarding data authenticity. Its scalable architecture enables high performance that is often challenging to achieve with traditional solutions like blockchain.
ScalarDL is a distributed ledger software that employs a unique consensus protocol to ensure strong data security, particularly regarding data authenticity. It effectively records and manages data operations and transactions in environments where data reliability and authenticity are crucial. Furthermore, its scalable architecture enables high performance that is often challenging to achieve with traditional solutions like blockchain. Additionally, ScalarDL is flexible enough to be easily integrated into existing applications and systems.
This strong security capability is particularly valued in industries such as finance, healthcare, and supply chain management. By leveraging smart contracts, ScalarDL enables flexible business rules and enhances the trustworthiness of data sharing in distributed environments. It serves as a reliable foundation for organizations to confidently advance their digital transformation efforts. Additionally, ScalarDL is highly compatible with existing cloud environments and can be easily deployed in on-premises or hybrid cloud setups.
As an innovative solution for next-generation data governance, ScalarDL establishes a new standard in enterprise data management. Its design, which combines tamper prevention, transparency, and efficiency, provides a secure and trustworthy foundation for handling critical data across diverse business scenarios.
ScalarDL supports relational databases, such as Oracle Database, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora MySQL, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, SQLite, and YugabyteDB, and NoSQL databases, such as Amazon DynamoDB, Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL, and Apache Cassandra.
ScalarDL is middleware for realizing a tamper-evident database system by detecting arbitrary faults (that is, Byzantine faults), such as data tampering and malicious attacks, in transactional database systems.
ScalarDL guarantees the authenticity of data with its real-time Byzantine fault detection capability.
ScalarDL preserves data by using its tamper-evident, append-only ledger; thus, it correctly manages the traceability of data.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay for ScalarDL Auditor by the hour, with no upfront commitment. Billing runs on a single usage dimension tied to container runtime. Each running container counts as one unit, sized at 2 vCPU and 4GB memory. If a container exceeds that size, the unit count rises based on how many vCPU or memory blocks it uses, whichever is higher. Your cost scales directly with how long containers run and how large they are. ScalarDL Auditor works alongside ScalarDL Ledger, so plan for that dependency when estimating usage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one unit for hourly billing?
One unit is a single running container sized at 2 vCPU and 4GB memory. If a container exceeds that size, the unit count rises. You divide the vCPU count by 2 and the memory by 4GB, then round each up. Whichever result is higher sets the billed unit count.
Am I charged when a container is stopped or not running?
Charges apply per running container per hour. When a container is not running, no software charges accrue for it. Your cost follows actual runtime, so stopping containers stops the associated hourly charges. Underlying AWS resource fees may still apply separately.
Does ScalarDL Auditor require any other component to run?
Yes. ScalarDL Auditor works alongside ScalarDL Ledger and depends on it. You will need to run Ledger as well, which is billed separately under its own hourly usage. Plan for both components when estimating total runtime cost.

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
AWS Support is a one-on-one, fast-response support channel that is staffed 24x7x365 with experienced and technical support engineers. The service helps customers of all sizes and technical abilities to successfully utilize the products and features provided by Amazon Web Services.
