Overview
CloudBeaver is a new universal interface for data management developed by the DBeaver team. CloudBeaver is especially adapted for AWS Cloud services. This is the light web-application that you can share among all AWS users within your company. CloudBeaver allows:
- view and edit data and metadata of your databases
- export data from tables
- run SQL-queries for SQL and NoSQL databases
- view ER-diagrams for database objects and export them. Out-of-the-box CloudBeaver supports: AWS RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), AWS Redshift, Aurora, Athena, DynamoDB, DocumentDB and Keyspaces. You can also create connections to your custom databases. Tens drivers are already included.
Highlights
- CloudBeaver works easily with your databases in AWS. In a few clicks you can setup a CloudBeaver server with connections to all your AWS and third-party databases. These connections are available for all users in your company and consider AWS permissions.
- CloudBeaver shows data from SQL and NoSQL databases as tables or in JSON view. For experienced users CloudBeaver suggests the advanced SQL-editor with syntax highlighting and auto-suggestion.
- You can look at the structure of your database on ER-diagrams. ER-diagrams are available for databases, schemas and tables.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

- Filters and ordering were improved for Neo4j.
SQL Editor:
- SQL Editor auto-completion was enhanced to get column, table, and function names faster.
- Added new AI models: gpt-4o, gpt-4-turbo, gpt-4o-mini.
- Removed deprecated AI model: gpt-3.5-turbo-16K.
- Fixed the dollar-quoted string parsing in the SQL Editor for PostgreSQL.
- Changed the save script icon to a floppy disk for better recognition.
- Improved display of the long error messages in the SQL Editor and Log viewer.
- Improved application behavior when closing a connection - open editors won't be closed on disconnect.
Administration:
- Redesigned administration navigation panel - now it is more compact and clear.
- Added the ability to change the default commit mode for each connection separately.
Domain Manager:
- Now administrators have an easy way to create a server domain for the application in the Easy config or Administration part.
- Added the ability to configure a custom domain and custom SSL certificate.
- Added the ability to delete existing product domains.
Security:
- Credentials encryption was enhanced.
- All major CVEs in third-party libraries were resolved.
Databases:
- Added Huawei GaussDB driver
- Added the Keep alive setting for Db2 LUW and IMB i, Apache Kyuubi, Clickhouse, Firebird, and Trino.
- DDL generation for Oracle Tablespaces was added.
- Connection stability was significantly improved for Redshift.
- Altibase now supports non-schema objects like Job, Database Link, Directory, Library, and Server properties.
- MongoDB/DocumentDB JavaScript code support was improved.
- Legacy Couchbase driver was removed.
- DDL display for a view was added together with the ability to display the list of table partitions, indexes, synonyms, serials, triggers, and procedures for CUBRID.
- Tables and views DDL generation was enhanced for Ocient.
- Keys connection settings were fixed for Redis.
- Stored procedures handling in SQL Editor was fixed for Vertica.

Dbeaver is avery helpful tool that we use to connect to various kinds of databases right in our local machine.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive DBBearer is for managing and querying databases. The interface is clean and easy to navigate. Also really easy to manage multiple types of DB.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes with frequent updates and heavy data loads, the client seems to lag or not respond very well, but this happens very rarely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DBBearer helps me efficiently manage multiple databases, reducing the time spent on database administration tasks. It also streamlines the process of writing and executing queries, which enhances my productivity

I am using Dbeaver to write and execute Queries to fetch data and do the analysis as I am a data analyst. It saves a lot of time by autosuggesting everything and hence I love it.

What do you like best about the product?
I had used DBeaver for around 2.8 years and it is the best database tool for me. I have connected multiple databases in a single application. No need to install multiple applications for different databases. It is very easy to implement. Query processing is very fast. Even it shows the ER diagram for the entities having relations with other tables. I have not faced many issues, but still they have quick responsive customer support. I can contact them through email. I have used DBeaver for the numbers of my project. It is also very easy to integrate with my database credentials. It has made my job of reading data very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have faced the issue sometimes with importing and exporting data cause it takes much longer time to process and functions are a bit difficult to understand. Sometimes it also fails in between. When I open two instances of the DBeaver then it shows an error, which I think can be resolved by the owner. I also wish it had an option to export the ER diagram. DBeaver releases very frequent updates, sometimes it causes problems after installation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has a multiplatform database support tool, which is the best thing for me. Easy to add new database connections and no need to download drivers separately, it downloads by itself. It is very user-friendly. It has also a great session manager.
