OVERVIEW The Pega Blueprint AI Agent creates Pega GenAI Blueprint application designs from natural language prompts. It authenticates each request as the user signed in to the AWS Transform (ATX) console and can attach source documents from S3, HTTP/HTTPS URLs, or ZIP archives.
REQUIREMENTS
- A valid Pega GenAI Blueprint account/entitlement (Pega-provided OAuth client + signing key).
- AWS Transform access. Your AWS account must be allowlisted by AWS Transform to register the agent - contact your Pega representative or AWS Solutions Architect.
SECRETS MANAGER SETUP (us-east-1) Create two secrets:
- pega-blueprint-agent/jwt-signing-key - RSA private key (PEM). The matching public key must be registered with Pega's JWKS endpoint.
- pega-blueprint-agent/oauth-client - {"client_id":"<id>","client_secret":"<secret>"} from your Pega administrator. To use different names, set PEGA_JWT_KEY_SECRET and PEGA_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRET.
IAM PERMISSIONS (execution role)
- secretsmanager:GetSecretValue on the two secrets
- identitystore:DescribeUser (resolves the signed-in user's email)
ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES Required:
- IDENTITY_STORE_ID: your IAM Identity Center store ID (d-xxxxxxxxxx). Must be your own directory. Recommended:
- ATX_JWKS_URL: ATX JWKS endpoint; enables JWT signature verification.
USING THE AGENT From the AWS Transform console, send a prompt such as: "Create a blueprint called 'Customer Service App' for a customer service application. Industry: Financial Services. Upload the file from s3://my-bucket/requirements.zip" The agent authenticates as the signed-in ATX user, extracts files from the ZIP if provided (up to 20), and returns a Blueprint ID with a direct link.
