    Overview

    The SQL Server Amazon Machine Images (AMI) is built, updated, and fully-patched by AWS within five business days of Microsoft's patch Tuesday (the second Tuesday of each month). Launching an instance from this AMI enables you to run the instance as a database server and saves you the effort to install SQL Server software. This AMI comes with following software and drivers including AWS Systems Manager, AWS CloudFormation, AWS Tools for Windows PowerShell, Network drivers, and Storage drivers.

    You can use AWS Launch Wizard to easily size, configure, and deploy SQL Server applications on AWS. Launch Wizard for SQL Server supports both single instance and high availability deployments according to AWS and SQL Server best practices.

    What do you like best about the product?
    The easy to use interface and it provide suggestions while writing queries.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    There is nothing as much, but in case of large number of tables, the table expansion section takes time.

    It's provide a good interface/Editor for writing SQL queries,

    What do you like best about the product?
    I am using MS SQL 2019 on windows server at my current organization, it is more reliable and inbuild query tools and export tools are more enhanced when compared to other SQL Tools like Maria, postgress etc.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    First dislike is cost
    Second one is Linux compatibility
    Third dislike is Free editions lacks in even some basic features where other providers gives in basic versions
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Could not list it in numbers, it helps a lot like providing advanced features and export import tools which others lag.

    What do you like best about the product?
    There are many things about Microsoft sql server 2019 standard, but personally some of the things are best as per my concern. Like UTF-8, big size of data cluster for industrial level, faster and better, some security features...
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Till now there are some small small things in have faced during using Microsoft sql server 2019 standard like memory and other, but still I'm not facing any big problem or issues during my development work with the microsoft sql server 2019 standard.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    As per my concern, that is maybe a memory issues. I'm not sure about it.

    What do you like best about the product?
    It came up with Apache Spark & Hadoop Distributed system.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    I liked all the features of Microsoft SQL Server. be it SQL based or be it NoSql Based.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    We have created different DB tables in it that we are using to serve out Spring REST based applications.
