Overview
NCache Cloud is a fully managed caching solution in AWS with pay-as-you-go (PAYG) charges. NCache Cloud is available as a separate listing in the AWS Marketplace.
NCache License and Renewals listing in the AWS Marketplace lets you purchase NCache licenses, renew existing NCache subscription licenses, and renew annual maintenance and support if you own perpetual licenses. This facility is intended for the following types of customers:
Migration to AWS: Existing NCache customers from on-prem who are planning to move their NCache footprint to AWS but want to reuse their existing licenses in AWS.
Multi-Cloud: New customers who want to purchase multi-cloud licenses of NCache so they can share these licenses between AWS and other cloud platforms or on-prem environments, or they want the freedom to move these licenses from AWS to another platform.
AWS Marketplace Preference: Existing NCache customers who prefer to pay for NCache licenses and renewals through AWS Marketplace.

Financing for AWS Marketplace purchases
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

A Software Unit maps to NCache server licenses tied to a server profile, which combines RAM and vCPUs. You license each cache server based on the profile you pick, whichever of RAM or vCPUs is higher. Clients are free. A minimum of two servers per environment applies for high availability.
Software cost covers the NCache server charges based on your server profile and server count. You pay AWS separately for infrastructure: the managed Kubernetes cluster, worker node VMs matching each server profile, and load balancers. Data processing and cross-zone or cross-region transfer fees may also apply.
You can add or remove servers at runtime without downtime. Adding servers raises both software and infrastructure charges, since each server needs its own worker node VM. Removing servers lowers those charges. Under a reservation, contact the vendor to adjust your committed quantity.
