This job postings dataset is a historical archive for Japan (JP). With a population of 125.7M, Japan has a GDP per capita of $39.3K USD. It contains all job postings we found from January 2020 through the date you subscribe, including title, company, location, dates, and salary where available - 3M job postings (as of Sept. 2026), on average 144.7K new job postings per month (as of mid 2026).

Once delivered, the archive is fixed: it won't include postings dated after your subscription date, and it isn't refreshed or extended afterward. If you need ongoing daily updates, subscribe to our 3-month data feed for Japan instead.

Job postings are provided as gzip-compressed JSON Lines files named techmap_jobs_jp_YYYY-MM-DD.jsonl.gz, one file per day and one posting per JSON line. Need CSV, XML, RSS, Atom or Parquet instead? Our conversion guide  has ready-to-use code in JavaScript, Python, Java and bash.
