OrangeHRM - Preconfigured Human Resources Platform
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for the software running on an Amazon EC2 instance. The pricing splits across many instance types, so you choose the hardware size that fits your workload. Options span general-purpose (m- and t-series), compute-optimized (c-series), memory-optimized (r-series), and storage-optimized (i-series) families. Within each family you pick a size, from nano and micro up to 2xlarge. Larger sizes give more compute, memory, or storage and carry a matching hourly rate. There is no upfront commitment; you are billed only for the hours you run. All instance types deliver the same preconfigured platform.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for a given instance type?
Each hourly unit covers one running EC2 instance of the size you pick. It runs the preconfigured OrangeHRM platform, database, and web administration tools. The rate reflects that instance's compute, memory, and storage. You pay for each hour the instance runs, counted per instance.
Am I charged the software fee when my instance is stopped?
The hourly software fee meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue software charges. Note that stored data on the instance may still incur separate AWS storage fees. Also, stopped AWS servers change their IP address when restarted unless you attach a static Elastic IP.
Does moving to a larger instance size affect my HR platform features?
No. All instance types deliver the same OrangeHRM platform, database, and administration tools. Choosing a larger size gives more compute, memory, or storage for heavier workloads. You can switch sizes without changing features. Only the hourly rate changes to match the hardware you select.
