AppFactor Core provides a rapid and automated approach to understand applications and their dependencies, automatically generate modernization candidates for cloud-native architectures and assess them for low level cloud readiness, security risks and tech debt.
With AppFactor Core, you can accelerate cloud migration and app modernization efforts like never before.
AppFactor provides a comprehensive and automated app discovery and assessment capability. Gain a 360-degree view and analysis of applications and workloads in minutes.
The AppFactor Application Assessment is an all-encompassing product that adheres to the industry best practices for large-scale software analysis. It intelligently analyzes your applications specific features, infrastructure, dependencies and architecture.
There is no longer a need to dedicate hours to pulling source code repositories. A fully comprehensive scan and insight into various datapoints, markers and composition to generate scores and insights. It creates heat map reports that visually represent cloud readiness, security flaws from a modernization prospective, quality insights, and LoC refactoring recommendations to improve software composition towards a more cloud-native portfolio.
With AppFactor Application Assessment, not only are you able to generate modernization candidates quickly with minimal effort, you will be able to rapidly gain a 360-degree understanding of any application at any time by identifying its architecture, anti-patterns, technologies, security concerns, performance bottlenecks, and development model.
Automatically scan for potential cloud remediation issues and cloud accommodation issues embedded in applications. Cloud Readiness is entirely data driven using rules comprised of patterns. The matching of patterns and lines of application code require millions of pattern comparisons for each portfolio. AppFactor analyzes for cloud suitability, but also, to provide insights into an applications readiness for containerization and cloud-native enhancements.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
AppFactor Core offers nine contract options built around one capability: scanning, discovering, and analyzing applications across your estate. The options differ only by endpoint capacity, ranging from 100 up to 25,000 endpoints. You pick the tier that matches how many endpoints you need to cover. Pricing scales with that endpoint count, so larger estates map to higher-capacity tiers. Each tier is a separate contract commitment rather than an add-on. This structure lets you size your purchase to the number of endpoints you plan to assess, with no other pricing variables to configure.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one endpoint for billing purposes?
An endpoint is a running location where your software operates. AppFactor scans where applications actually run, mapping their configuration, dependencies, and runtime environment. Each tier caps how many endpoints you can scan, discover, and analyze. The count reflects the running workloads assessed, not the number of code lines.
What happens if my estate grows beyond the endpoint count in my chosen tier?
Each tier caps scanning at its endpoint limit, from 100 up to 25,000. Coverage does not extend past that cap automatically. To assess more endpoints, you move to a higher-capacity tier. Each tier is a separate contract commitment, so scaling means selecting the tier that fits your new endpoint count.
Does this contract cover modernization and deployment, or only discovery and assessment?
These tiers cover the Discover and Assess capability: scanning, discovering, and analyzing applications across your endpoints. This produces visibility into architecture, dependencies, and cloud-native readiness. Downstream conversion, containerization, or code rewriting are separate platform capabilities and are not part of these Discover and Assess units.
