Usage instructions
You can find detailed instructions at the following URL: https://www.silverlining.cloud/docs/aws/selenium-windows
We are currently experiencing a delay in provisioning the instance. It may take up to 20 minutes for the instance to become ready for RDP connections and the initial configuration after the first login.
To connect to your instance, use the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). The login username is 'Administrator'. You can retrieve the password from the AWS management console by selecting the instance, then going to "Actions" and choosing "Get Windows Password".
The Selenium setup is preconfigured to work with several language bindings: Python, Java, and NodeJS. The provided sample code files cover a range of browser operations including initializing the web driver, navigating to a URL, interacting with web elements like clicking or sending keys, scrolling to specific elements, and capturing screenshots.
To run our sample scripts, open Visual Studio Code and select the script you would like to execute. Click on 'Run' and then choose either 'Start Debugging' or 'Run Without Debugging'.
