The Act Security Platform hardens cloud environments by enforcing contextual perimeters across the identity and network cloud control planes - shrinking the cloud attack surface by eliminating redundant access paths and proactively disrupting the cyber kill chain at every stage.
Eliminating cyber threats across the kill chain by proactively applying access controls, across initial access, execution, discovery, lateral movement, and exfiltration. Act Security converges IAM and network access into a single converged cloud control plane, enabling both guardrail as well as least-privilege access policy enforcement through native AWS controls (e.g. Security Groups, nACLs, S/RCPs, IAM policy) without agents, sidecars, or third-party infrastructure.
Key Capabilities:
Perimeter Discovery: Automatically cluster cloud resources into logical contextual perimeters by application, business unit, environment and data;
Cloud Access Modeling: Map configured, observed, and intentional access across every perimeter. Act cross-analyzes IAM policies, Security Groups, VPC boundaries, SCPs, and RCPs to expose the gaps between what's permitted, what's used, and what was meant to be allowed.
Access Hardening Campaigns: After modeling the cloud, Act generates the highest-ROI access-hardening policy enforcement action plans, called campaigns, on both the network and IAM layers, orchestrating existing cloud-native controls. Act's campaign engine addresses not only existing security gaps but, more importantly, prevents unintended access that does not yet exist.
Policy Enforcement: Continuously roll out hardened policies through AWS-native controls you already own - Security Groups, SCPs, RCPs - orchestrated through Infrastructure-as-Code.
Highlights
Unified Identity & Network Analysis: Identify dangerous gaps between IAM and network policies that siloed tools miss.
From Cloud Constructs to Contextual Perimeters: Model your cloud through meaningful, business-aligned perimeters, across applications, business units, and environments, and map access flows between these hierarchies, going beyond flat cloud constructs like OUs and accounts.
Multi-Cloud Access Management: Act Security supports AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes to simplify access control across all of your environments.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy the Act Security Platform through a single contract dimension billed in units. Pricing follows a committed contract term rather than hourly or usage-based metering. You agree to a set quantity of units upfront for the contract period. Because there is one dimension, you do not choose between separate tiers or instance sizes. The platform controls cloud access, maps boundaries, and enforces least-privilege policies through your own cloud-native controls. To size the right number of units for your environment, contact the vendor.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit of the Act Security Platform represent for billing?
The pricing table lists a single unit-based contract dimension but does not define what one unit maps to, such as a cloud account, workload, or protected boundary. To confirm how units are counted for your environment, contact the vendor.
How does the contract pricing work compared to hourly or usage-based billing?
You commit to a set quantity of units for the contract term and pay for that commitment. Charges do not meter by the hour or fluctuate with runtime activity. This flat committed model suits continuous cloud security enforcement rather than short-lived or variable workloads.
If my cloud environment grows during the term, does my cost change automatically?
The contract covers the unit quantity you agree to upfront for the term. Adding coverage beyond that commitment is not automatic and would require a change to your contract. To adjust unit counts as your environment scales, contact the vendor.
