Highlights
IMPROVE FORECAST ACCURACY. Demand Planning excels at helping your company rapidly and accurately understand future demand. The solution employs intelligent algorithmic methods and machine learning to address complex sales behaviour. These techniques apply to items with short or zero history, complex seasonality, periodic sales, high volume low frequency and make-to-order products. More accurate forecasts drive improved accuracy downstream that improves profitability and visibility.
REDUCE MANUFACTURING COSTS AND WASTE. Production Planning provides finite capacity-optimized planning to determine all manufacturing material flows across production stages subject to resource capacity, skills and tools, and labour and material constraints. Intelligent optimization algorithms determine the perfect plan for your enterprise across the planning horizon enabling overtime, outsourcing and seasonal stock-builds as necessary.
Advanced Scheduling ELIMINATE PRODUCTION INEFFICIENCIES. Accurately consider constraints that may affect production scheduling, such as limited capacity, changeover schedules or supplier lead times. QAD Advanced Scheduling fully incorporates these constraints into the scheduling process so your organization can respond with agility to unexpected disruptions and optimize production flow.

With the Demand and Inventory planning, we were able to stay on track with all the peaks and valleys that come our way in the logistical world. I was worried about using a cloud-based system, we used an almost DOS base system that was very old but very reliable. You hear nightmares of hacks and lag time with similar systems. With Dynasys it was not an issue!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming at first! There is a lot here to unpack. From business planning to financial planning and so on it gives you a lot to learn. The Resource center was helpful but I needed more training than I thought I would need. But once I was trained and logged hours of use, I felt comfortable with the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think the biggest problem solved is time management. Having everything under one "roof" has been extremely helpful and time-saving. I don't have to switch back and forth between programs and wait for one program that is faster than the other. It is all there for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This needs a bit more in the resource center for new users.
