You get the BillionMail software running on that specific Amazon EC2 instance type, plus support from ThinkCloud. The rate covers the software licence metered per hour. Each dimension maps to one instance type with a set amount of vCPUs, memory, and any accelerators. AWS charges the underlying infrastructure separately.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or paused?
Software charges apply per hour while the instance runs. A stopped or paused instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. You may still owe underlying AWS fees, such as storage for attached volumes, since those are billed by AWS separately from the software licence.
How does hourly usage billing work for this product?
You pay only for the hours the software runs, with no upfront commitment. Your bill equals the hourly rate for your selected instance multiplied by the hours it runs. Switching to a different instance type changes the hourly rate. This suits variable workloads, since idle time between runs is not charged.
