Overview
Private Business Intelligence and Privacy Analytics Server by Optick is a ready to launch analytics stack built for teams that want private dashboards, privacy focused website analytics, and AWS connected data exploration on their own cloud instance.
This server includes Apache Superset for modern business intelligence dashboards, SQL based data exploration, chart creation, and internal reporting. Superset is a widely used open source business intelligence application, and this AMI adds a practical deployment layer with Docker Compose, PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx reverse proxy routing, helper commands, and first boot automation. The included Superset environment is prepared with database connector support for Amazon Athena, Amazon Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and common analytics workflows.
The server also includes Umami for privacy focused website and product analytics. Umami provides a clean alternative to traditional tracking platforms and supports modern analytics needs such as traffic reporting, sessions, events, campaign insight, and product analytics features. Umami is useful for businesses that want self hosted analytics without relying on third party web analytics platforms.
This product is designed for AWS users who want a faster path to private analytics infrastructure. On first launch, the instance detects its public IP address, creates fresh application credentials, refreshes the landing page, generates customer first login instructions, and starts the analytics stack automatically. Customers can reach a landing page, Apache Superset, and Umami through public IP based sslip.io hostnames without needing to own a domain.
This AMI also includes AI ready Superset MCP support. Superset MCP is installed and runs locally on the instance so advanced users can connect AI compatible tooling through secure local or tunneled workflows. For security, MCP is bound to localhost by default and is not exposed directly to the public internet.
Private Business Intelligence and Privacy Analytics Server by Optick is useful for startups, internal analytics teams, consultants, AWS builders, product owners, marketing teams, and organizations that want a private analytics command center with business intelligence, privacy analytics, AWS data connectors, and AI era readiness in one deployable server. This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges are applied for the deployment of the application and AMI support and compliance.
