The introduction process was made very easy by the Nakivo team, and we were supported throughout.

In a few cases, the terminology of the interface differs from competitors, which caused some confusion at the beginning.

As a medium-sized company, we rely on one-time acquisition costs. Nakivo offers one-time licenses.

What do you like best about the product?

What we like most about NAKIVO Backup & Replication is its ability to protect multiple workloads from a single platform. As organizations increasingly distribute their data across private cloud environments, public cloud services, and Microsoft 365, having one solution for backup and recovery significantly reduces operational complexity.
The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing our engineers to quickly deploy, manage, and monitor backup jobs across customer environments. Performance has also been very strong, with reliable backup and recovery operations and efficient use of storage through features such as compression and deduplication.
From a business perspective, NAKIVO delivers excellent value for money. Compared to other enterprise backup solutions, it offers a broad feature set, including Microsoft 365 protection, replication, ransomware protection through immutable backups, and flexible deployment options, without the high licensing costs often associated with competing products. This combination of simplicity, performance, and cost-effectiveness was one of the main reasons we selected NAKIVO at Sovitas.

What do you dislike about the product?

One feature we would like to see improved is native integration with cloud identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID. For organizations that have standardized on modern identity and access management platforms, deeper support for single sign-on and centralized identity management would further enhance the administrative experience. Apart from that, NAKIVO has met our expectations very well in terms of functionality, performance, and ease of use.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

NAKIVO helps us simplify backup and recovery management across multiple customer environments. The platform is easy to deploy, allowing us to onboard new customers quickly and standardize our backup services without unnecessary complexity.
A major benefit has been the onboarding experience and the responsiveness of the NAKIVO support team. Support requests are handled quickly and professionally, helping us resolve questions and keep customer projects on track. Combined with the platform's ease of use and broad workload support, this has reduced operational overhead and improved service delivery for our customers.

What do you like best about the product?

I think NAKIVO Backup & Replication is an excellent backup solution. The sales team was very responsive, making the implementation process go very smoothly. They were flexible in arranging demos, including those with engineers, which allowed us to set up the system smoothly. The backup solution offers a wide range of features, and the GUI is very simple and intuitive, making it easier to use than the backup solution I used previously. The simplicity of the backup solution is a crucial factor for us, especially when changing backup schedules, troubleshooting issues, or performing restores. This simplicity helps prevent operational errors and makes it easier to document these processes in manuals and guides. Once the NAKIVO engineer showed me how to set it up, it was easy. I have already introduced NAKIVO to my colleagues.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication offers a customizable backup solution suited for various scale environments. Its simplicity helps us easily adjust schedules, troubleshoot, and document operations, preventing errors and enhancing efficiency, unlike our previous solution.

What do you like best about the product?

The onboarding process was really easy, and Kateryna Hapon was very friendly, quick to respond, and helpful throughout.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, I can’t say anything negative. The backup works every day and runs smoothly without any problems.

We previously used Acronis, and it was really expensive compared to Nakivo, so we saved a lot of money by switching.
