What do you like best about the product?

NAKIVO is simple to set up and easy to manage day to day. I can quickly check that backups are running properly, see if something has gone wrong, and handle restores without having to dig through complicated menus. It does what we need without adding extra work.

What do you dislike about the product?

There’s not much I dislike overall. Some settings and advanced options can take a little time to find or understand, especially when you first start using it. Once everything is set up though, day-to-day use is pretty straightforward.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem NAKIVO solves for us is having reliable backups without spending too much time managing them. We can easily check that everything is running properly and restore data when needed. It makes our day-to-day backup management much simpler and gives us confidence that our data is protected.

What do you like best about the product?

I found NAKIVO Backup & Replication very user friendly and fast to deploy. The commercial and technical teams were very good and knowledgeable, and the quote and technical deployment were fast. I like that I can schedule automatic backups without relying on end users, which gives us more time for other work instead of repetitive tasks. We also use incremental backups to optimize space.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish NAKIVO Backup & Replication had a software-as-a-service solution for customers who want a full solution, not just the software.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use NAKIVO Backup & Replication to connect our virtual servers, automatically replicate their data, and protect it on our NAS hardware.

What do you like best about the product?

I find NAKIVO Backup & Replication very effective for backup and restoration speeds. Having on-site backups is a real gem. I also value being able to encrypt data at rest and in transit and throttle our bandwidth.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think reporting and notifications could improve. I’d like to send status reports to our tenant holders about backup and restoration processes, including autogenerated reports of backup success rates over a specified period or daily.

I use NAKIVO Backup & Replication for backups to support redundancy and availability of our infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?

I like NAKIVO Backup & Replication’s clean, straightforward web interface, and setup and job management feel seamless. Deployment is fast, and I can set it up by following the technical instructions. I appreciate its price-to-performance and affordable licensing, along with enterprise-class features like ransomware resilience and instant file recovery. It’s more flexible and has more features than Vinchin.

What do you dislike about the product?

I could use improvements for advanced multi-tenant configurations.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication gives me a simple web UI, fast deployment, and affordable licensing.

The ability to manage multiple platforms. Excellent support and integrations work with my S3 provider.

So far, I haven’t found anything I specifically dislike.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nakivo performs well when backing up VMware and Proxmox environments, as well as file services, NAS, and bare-metal systems. The interface is straightforward and easy to use, which helps streamline the backup process and makes it more efficient overall.

What do you like best about the product?

I really like the easy OVA deployment, fast backup speeds, high reliability, and intuitive web interface.

What do you dislike about the product?

Honestly, I haven't found any major drawbacks. Everything works smoothly for my current environment and workflow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It eliminated complex backup management and unstable restoration processes. Thanks to fast OVA deployment and reliable automated backups, it ensures high availability, easy disaster recovery, and peace of mind for our critical infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?

NAKIVO Backup and Replication offers an excellent price-to-quality ratio and includes many useful features, such as backups to S3 cloud storage and VM replication. Support is very helpful, fast and have a vast knowledge of the product.

What do you dislike about the product?

The UX could be improved, since the parameters for editing backup jobs aren’t always clear or easy to understand.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

NAKIVO Backup & Replication is managing backups of all my VMs at an affordable price and with all features I need.

Easy to use UI. Responsive customer support.

Don't currently have any 'dislikes' about the software.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We backup our M365 data onto a local server, and we needed a replacement for the backup software we were using previously.

What do you like best about the product?

A single package that covers all backup tasks, with options for encryption and immutability.

What do you dislike about the product?

With so many options available, the initial setup can feel a bit challenging, but support is always nearby for assistance.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use the MSP version, hosted on our own platforms. It gives us the freedom to host the data in any compatible datacenter of our choosing. In addition, all backups are encrypted and are immune to ransomware when you use compliance mode. This also means all data can remain in Europe for GDPR compliance.

What do you like best about the product?

The introduction process was made very easy by the Nakivo team, and we were supported throughout.

What do you dislike about the product?

In a few cases, the terminology of the interface differs from competitors, which caused some confusion at the beginning.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a medium-sized company, we rely on one-time acquisition costs. Nakivo offers one-time licenses.
