Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
This listing charges by the hour and covers use for up to 50 users. Pricing is set per running hour, and each row represents a different EC2 instance type you can run the software on. You pick the instance size that matches the compute, memory, or storage your deployment needs. The software's hourly charge stays the same across instance types; the instance choice mainly affects the separate AWS infrastructure cost you pay for the server. You only pay for the hours the service is actually running. Charges accumulate hourly and appear on your AWS bill.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a user for the 50-user limit on this listing?
This listing supports use by up to 50 active users. Users are the people accessing the document management software running on your server. Once your team exceeds 50 users, you would move to a listing that supports a larger user count, such as the 100-user or 200-user tier.
Am I charged for hours when the server instance is stopped or powered off?
The software charge is metered per in-use hour, so it accrues only while the service is running. Stopped or powered-off instances do not add software charges. You may still pay separate AWS infrastructure fees, such as storage, while the instance is stopped. AWS calculates and collects all charges.
Why does the software hourly rate stay the same across all these EC2 instance types?
The software charge reflects the 50-user service tier, not the instance size. Every instance type on this listing carries the same hourly software rate. The instance you pick affects the separate AWS infrastructure cost you pay for compute, memory, and storage. That infrastructure cost is billed by AWS, not by the vendor.

This CloudFormation template will launch a single EC2 instance in your VPC, running the Yarkon S3 Admin Console. IAM Role and policy for the EC2 instance are automatically created, as well as the security groups requires to allow access to the EC2, and allow SSH access to the administrator from a secure IP.
CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Review from a verified AWS customer
Yarkon is a great solution for extending S3 access to non-AWS users. The installation is dead simple, the configuration process is straightforward and mostly uses AWS tools. The user administration tools make it a snap to add users, configure their access, and allow them to change their passwords.
A special note has to be made for the level of support that they provide. The support team is responsive, receptive, and offers prompt and decisive solutions to problems.
After several months in our production environment, I would recommend Yarkon without any reservation.
