Overview
BlackBerry Radar H2 is a scalable and flexible asset monitoring solution. It provides up to 5 sensor readings from one device, including accurate location and mileage, container on/off or door open/close, and the ability to communicate to additional wireless sensors for enhanced visibility to the status of your assets.
The BlackBerry Radar online portal includes custom dashboards, reports and tools that empower teams to manage assets based on the rich information provided from the solution. Improve individual asset or entire fleet utilization, locate assets quickly and understand load status, maximize cargo utilization, save driver time looking for empty trailers, containers or chassis, prevent theft and cargo loss, install and be up and running in 10 minutes.

You buy this as a 36-month contract, priced per unit. All four options build on the Radar H2 device bundle, which includes connectivity and hosted cloud services. The base Radar H2 bundle covers asset tracking on its own. The other three add a sensor: A2 Cargo, R2 Container, or R2 Cargo. Each sensor bundle pairs the H2 device with a specific sensor type for different cargo or container use cases. You pick the bundle matching your assets. Pricing scales with the number of units you order.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One unit is one Radar H2 tracking device bundle. You order a unit for each trailer, chassis, or container you want to track. Sensor bundles pair one H2 device with one sensor. Your count equals the number of assets you plan to monitor.
Each unit is a turnkey package. Along with the tracking device, you get network connectivity and securely hosted cloud services. These deliver continuous asset visibility and near real-time analytics through web-based applications. Connectivity and cloud hosting are bundled, not billed separately.
All four bill per unit over 36 months. The base Radar H2 bundle tracks assets alone. The A2 Cargo, R2 Container, and R2 Cargo bundles each add a sensor to the H2 device. Your choice of bundle sets the per-unit price for that asset type.

What do you like best about the product?
Loved the quick installation (under 8 minutes!) and the ability to get the information I needed when I needed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Obviously price is always a factor in our business. It is somewhat pricey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are constantly shipping items across the country for various film productions. Important to know where the equipment is as it is incredibly expensive. This product helps know where things are at a moments notice.
