Automation platform has accelerated releases and has centralized test analytics for QA teams

    Reviewed on Jun 09, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

I have been using Zebrunner Testing Platform  for years. My main use case for Zebrunner Testing Platform  is that it is a test automation platform designed to run, manage, and analyze automated tests at scale. It acts as a central hub for test execution, providing test orchestration such as reporting and analyzing, and infrastructure management for both cloud and on-premises environments. CI/CD integration allows me to integrate various CI/CD tools. Additionally, it has test artifact storage including logs, screenshots, and videos. In simple terms, Zebrunner executes tests, provides monitoring, and serves as an analytics platform for automated tests.

A specific example of how I use Zebrunner Testing Platform in my daily workflow is that we integrated it with frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium  for mobile testing, and Cypress for the Playwright API testing framework.

Zebrunner Testing Platform runs automated tests in multiple environments and supports parallel execution at scale, which is the most advanced feature. It runs over 1,000 UI tests across 10 browser types simultaneously, which is the best feature.

The unified dashboard helps me and my team, especially the QA team, to report issues more effectively. We have integrated it with CI/CD, so whenever a developer pushes code, it starts to run the test automation from Zebrunner and then sends the analytical report to our QA team. Based on that, they will raise a bug, which makes their job simpler and easier.

Zebrunner Testing Platform is deployed in my organization as Software as a Service, so we are using the public cloud.

    What is most valuable?

The best features that Zebrunner Testing Platform offers include its unified dashboard showing pass-fail rates, execution time, and trends over time, as well as storing screenshots, logs, and video recordings. For example, the QA team identifies that failures increased after a release.

Zebrunner Testing Platform has positively impacted my organization by making deployments quicker than before. Every time there is development, there is QA testing. It used to take a considerable amount of time, but now deployment is made easier with Zebrunner Testing Platform.

We generally take three to four days for development, deployment, QA, bug fixes, and everything, but with Zebrunner Testing Platform, we can do it in two days or even in a single day.

Zebrunner Testing Platform is a SaaS, so everything is managed. It is a Software as a Service based on subscription. It charges based on the number of users and test execution, and also based on infrastructure usage. Its estimation ranges from thirty to two hundred dollars per user per month.

    What needs improvement?

An improvement for Zebrunner Testing Platform is that it is easier to learn compared with others, but there are UI and UX complexities. Some users report hard navigation and an outdated interface, making it difficult for developers or QA to navigate. Additionally, there is no pricing transparency, as pricing is not always clear upfront, and it customizes based on scalability.

Zebrunner Testing Platform could integrate AI, mainly in failure grouping and analytics, so that it auto-corrects or predicts issues during the push itself rather than running test cases. Every test case takes about ten to twenty minutes to run, but with AI integration using caching memory or something similar, it can provide reports earlier.

Regarding Zebrunner Testing Platform's AI capabilities, I note that it does not have any AI capabilities, which is what I observed.

In terms of accuracy and reliability of output, Zebrunner Testing Platform lacks AI capabilities, so it does not offer any accuracy.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working in my current field for more than five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    Zebrunner Testing Platform is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability of Zebrunner Testing Platform is quite good. Compared to Azure DevOps  Test Plans, Zebrunner Testing Platform is quite good.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for Zebrunner Testing Platform is excellent with very prompt and quite good response times.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did not use any solutions earlier; this is the first time we are using Zebrunner Testing Platform.

    What was our ROI?

We have seen a return on investment, as fewer employees are needed. This allows us to avoid a massive QA team for testing; instead, CI itself performs half of the QA's functions.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing is that pricing is not always clear upfront. There is custom pricing for larger teams, which makes it hard for companies to budget. Some users explicitly mention a lack of clarity in pricing and licensing, and it is not ideal for startups or small teams. However, it is a good tool for enterprises with teams beyond sixty to seventy people, charging quite less at twenty-five to thirty dollars per user.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Zebrunner Testing Platform, we did not evaluate other options. We looked to execute using only Selenium and managing tests only with TestRail . We did not have a proper platform such as Zebrunner Testing Platform.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate Zebrunner Testing Platform an eight out of ten. It is a good tool, but I give it an eight because it may not fully replace tools such as TestRail  or Jira  Test Management.

I choose an eight out of ten because it is not ideal for small teams, which may find it overkill if they have fewer than fifty people. The higher cost is a significant reason, and it is best suited for enterprise QA teams with larger automation sets, such as one thousand or more tests, particularly for DevOps-driven companies.

My advice to others looking into using Zebrunner Testing Platform is that if you are in a proper enterprise organization with a large amount of QA, you can definitely use Zebrunner Testing Platform without hesitation. I rate Zebrunner Testing Platform an eight out of ten overall.

Centralized dashboards have improved test visibility and have boosted team productivity

    Reviewed on May 29, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

Zebrunner Testing Platform  serves as our centralized test automation platform and reporting hub. As an SRE, I work with our QA and development teams to ensure that automated test execution is reliable, observable, and integrated into our CI/CD pipelines. Zebrunner serves as the execution infrastructure for our Selenium-based web UI tests and mobile tests, as well as the aggregation and reporting layers for test results across all frameworks, including JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber tests running in our backend pipelines. The real-time test execution dashboard, rich reporting with screenshots and logs on failures, and the test scalability analytics are the features our team uses daily. We also leverage Zebrunner Testing Platform 's integration with our Jira  instance to automatically create and link defects from the failing tests.

Integrating Zebrunner Testing Platform with Jira  has helped us stay on track, and the tickets were raised and proved helpful for us.

How has it helped my organization?

Zebrunner Testing Platform has helped our organization positively with test results. Before this, we did not have a dashboard or anything to consolidate everything in a single pane. This platform provided us that capability.

Having everything in a single dashboard has affected our team's productivity significantly. I would estimate that the team gained 50 to 60% more productivity after implementing this platform.

    What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature that Zebrunner Testing Platform offers is the real-time test execution view, which shows me the live progress, pass-fail status, streaming logs during long test durations, and streaming logs during active test runs. This is the most used feature in our team's daily workflow. The test scalability tracking classifies whether tests are stable, unstable, or consistently failing based on historical run data. This helps us manage flaky test technical debt. We use this data in our weekly engineering review to prioritize test maintenance work. The AI-powered failure classification groups similar failures by root cause patterns and has reduced the manual triage effort for large test runs significantly. The multi-framework support means we do not have to standardize on a single test framework to benefit from unified reporting, which has given us an important diverse testing stack.

The AI-powered failure classification has impacted our team's efficiency significantly because it found historical data, analyzed patterns, and eliminated the manual pattern matching process we previously used to identify what was triggering failures and what factors were involved. The AI performed this task effectively and reduced our manual work considerably.

    What needs improvement?

There are certain aspects of Zebrunner Testing Platform that require improvements. The initial integration with existing test frameworks, particularly for more customized TestNG configurations, requires non-trivial setup work, and the documentation does not cover all the edge cases we encountered. Zebrunner Testing Platform's own test runner, the Carina framework, is well supported by teams using other frameworks but delivers a somewhat degraded experience in terms of deep feature integration. The platform's resource provisioning for parallel test execution can occasionally result in queuing during peak periods. When running large test suites, though this has improved over the past year, the pricing model based on parallel execution slots requires careful sizing to balance cost against test execution time.

Regarding Zebrunner Testing Platform's AI capabilities, I think that governance and security could be better. After all, it is a SaaS platform, and it could be better if they provided on-premises deployment support. On a SaaS platform, you cannot fully trust it overall, but it is acceptable as long as the organization is comfortable with it.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using Zebrunner Testing Platform for almost a year now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

In two years of using Zebrunner Testing Platform, we have had only two incidents of platform unavailability that impacted our pipelines, both resolved within an hour. The test execution at scale is reliable, as we run up to 200 parallel test sessions during pre-release regression cycles. The reporting platform handles large volumes of test results without performance degradation, which is important when running suites of several thousand test cases. Zebrunner Testing Platform's infrastructure transparently supports parallel execution needs, which is important during our release crunch period.

Zebrunner Testing Platform is quite stable in my experience.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Zebrunner Testing Platform's scalability has been very good for our needs. In our years of using it, there have been only a few incidents of platform availability that impacted our pipelines, both resolved within an hour. The test execution at scale allows us to run many parallel test sessions during pre-release regressions. The reporting platform handles large volumes of test results without performance degradation, which is important when running suites of several thousand test cases. Zebrunner Testing Platform's infrastructure scales transparently for parallel execution needs, which is important during our release crunch periods.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for Zebrunner Testing Platform is good because the team has been genuinely responsive and technically capable. They have a clear understanding of test automation challenges, not just their own platform, which makes conversations about integration and architecture much more productive. We had a complex integration issue with our custom test engine and listener setup earlier in our deployment period, and the Zebrunner Testing Platform team provided direct engineering support and resolved it efficiently. The product team actively solicits feedback and maintains a high release cadence, so we have seen multiple features we requested ship within one or two release cycles.

    How was the initial setup?

The initial integration with existing test frameworks, particularly for more customized TestNG configurations, requires non-trivial setup work, and the documentation does not cover all the edge cases we encountered.

    What was our ROI?

We have seen a return on investment with Zebrunner Testing Platform, as we saved significant time during production issues. Before implementation, we did not have the test results and metrics readily available. Having them provided proved useful.

What other advice do I have?

Zebrunner Testing Platform is an excellent test automation platform that solves the real prevalent problem of fragmented, difficult-to-interpret test reporting in large engineering organizations. The unified visibility, real-time execution tracking, and scalability analytics deliver genuine value. Teams running significant volumes of automated tests across multiple frameworks will find that their ability to maintain and act on their test suite sustains improvement. I would rate this solution highly overall.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Streamlined manual test cycles have saved time and simplify sharing results with clients

    Reviewed on Jan 03, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Zebrunner Testing Platform  is to add test cases, prepare test cases, develop a test plan, and execute test cycles.

In my recent project for Cipo, I used Zebrunner Testing Platform  to execute the test cases manually and I need to add the results over Zebrunner; the same data I need to share with my client and in Slack.

My daily routine with Zebrunner Testing Platform involves creating test runs with the milestones and creating workspaces for different sub-projects under the main pillar.

    What is most valuable?

Zebrunner Testing Platform offers great features such as easy usage of the tool, allowing for creating, removing, or editing test cases; everything is user-friendly, and sharing results through Zebrunner Testing Platform is also valuable, including linking Jira  tickets.

The Jira  integration helps my team because if any failed test case appears during execution, we file bugs in Jira and can link the respective ticket with Zebrunner Testing Platform, making it easy for the client to understand the bug's context and from which test case it has been caught.

Zebrunner Testing Platform positively impacts my organization as we usually use it as a repository to store test cases and results, similar to TestRail ; previously, we used Zephyr  and TestRail  tools, and now we also use Zebrunner Testing Platform.

    What needs improvement?

To improve Zebrunner Testing Platform, we need to include more statuses during execution, such as passed, failed, and blocked; we usually have these cases, but we want more statuses in progress, reviewing of test cases, or test cases in development, which helps the testers easily identify whether a test case is executed manually or automated, or whether the feature is implemented or not.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    Zebrunner Testing Platform is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability of Zebrunner Testing Platform is good.

How are customer service and support?

I have not tried the customer support for Zebrunner Testing Platform.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I didn't previously use a different solution; I have not used any.

Before choosing Zebrunner Testing Platform, I did not evaluate other options; there are no other options I looked into.

    How was the initial setup?

I didn't purchase Zebrunner Testing Platform through the AWS Marketplace  since it's client-provided software.

I don't know about the pricing, setup costs, and licensing because I have not researched those aspects.

    What about the implementation team?

My daily routine with Zebrunner Testing Platform involves creating test runs with the milestones and creating workspaces for different sub-projects under the main pillar.

    What was our ROI?

I don't have any idea about return on investment related to Zebrunner Testing Platform; I haven't seen metrics such as fewer employees needed or money saved.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I didn't purchase Zebrunner Testing Platform through the AWS Marketplace  since it's client-provided software.

I don't know about the pricing, setup costs, and licensing because I have not researched those aspects.

What other advice do I have?

Since switching to Zebrunner Testing Platform, I notice a positive outcome in terms of time saving.

When comparing our previous tool to Zebrunner Testing Platform, I estimate that my team saves about one hour, allowing us to easily complete our assigned tasks one hour earlier.

My advice for others looking into using Zebrunner Testing Platform is to explore the whole platform and know its features; then only can they easily use the software.

My company does not have a business relationship with this vendor other than being a customer.

I have no additional thoughts about Zebrunner Testing Platform before we wrap up.

I rate Zebrunner Testing Platform around eight out of ten because, as I've mentioned, we need some more improvements in Zebrunner Testing Platform, such as adding a few more statuses.
