Bocada Cloud Standard bills you by usage across three independent dimensions, each metered monthly. You pay per unique protected resource, such as a server, virtual machine, or client. You pay per unique protected endpoint, like a workstation. You also pay per terabyte of monitored storage. These dimensions are not tiers or bundles. Each one meters a different unit, so you are charged only for what you actually monitor during the billing period. Your total scales with the count of resources, endpoints, and storage volume you monitor each month.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one protected resource versus one protected endpoint for billing?
A resource is a server, virtual machine, or client that Bocada Cloud monitors. An endpoint is a device like a workstation. The seller notes that 10 endpoints equal 1 resource, so endpoints and resources meter different device types and are counted separately each month.
If I stop monitoring some resources during the month, does my charge go down?
Yes. You pay per unique protected resource, endpoint, or terabyte counted during the monthly billing period. Because billing follows usage, your charge tracks the count you actually monitor that month. Fewer monitored items means a lower charge, with no fixed commitment.
How do the three dimensions combine on my invoice, and which one drives cost?
All three bill independently and appear together on the same monthly invoice. Resource and endpoint charges track your device counts, while storage charges track monitored terabytes. Environments with many servers and workstations see device metrics drive cost. Large storage volumes push the per-terabyte charge higher.

Bocada Cloud - The Backup Radar Replacement
Reviewed on Feb 23, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of implementation delivered through good documentation simpler connection methods, and a great UI.
Easier to use compared to Backup Radar, has an easy to understand central dashboard with filters, and simpler set and forget integration process using prebuilt connectors, especially for our AWS and Azure backups.
Compare the Backup Radar we have found the reporting easy to setup for client facing reports that make sense and are easy to build.
Month to month, resource count based pricing options are a welcome change compared to Backup Radar. We are no longer having to lock in a resource roof to account for temporary resource monitoring or use fluctuation based on clients moving to SaaS based solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limited email support coverage hours outside of our time zone (Australia) is a small downside in the rare occasion you do need assistance outside of their documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past when using Backup Radar, we struggled to accurately connect all of our different backup solutions, in particular native cloud backups from AWS, Google Cloud and Azure. Resulting in a longer multi portal backup check process.
Bocada is now helping us to monitor backups being taken by our secondary backup solutions and provide accurate reporting to our service teams and customers on the performance of these backups. This is helping to reduce the time spend completing backup checks by our infrastructure team, allowing them to manage to exception.
