Dimensions summary
You pay based on usage, with three independent metering options that can apply together. The resource dimension charges for each unique protected resource you monitor during a monthly billing period. The endpoint dimension charges for each unique protected endpoint over the same period. The storage dimension charges per terabyte per month. Each dimension bills separately according to what you actually monitor. Your total scales with the number of resources, endpoints, and storage volume you track, so costs rise or fall with your monitoring activity.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A resource is a virtual machine, server, or client that the platform monitors. An endpoint refers to devices like workstations. Ten endpoints equal one resource unit under the vendor's counting rule. Each is metered separately during the monthly billing period.
The resource dimension often dominates because it charges per monitored virtual machine, server, or client. The endpoint dimension adds cost for workstation-type devices. The storage dimension charges per terabyte per month for tracked storage. All three bill independently and appear together, so your mix of monitored assets sets the total.
Charges apply per unique protected resource, endpoint, or terabyte tracked during the monthly billing period. If you reduce what you monitor, your charges fall accordingly. You are billed for actual monitoring activity, so costs rise or drop as your monitored count changes each month.
