This RHEL 9.7 AMI is built for teams that want a clean Red Hat Enterprise Linux start on EC2, without spending the first hours on basic security and AWS tooling. The seller applied a practical security and operations baseline so instances start ready for production-style use.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for each running instance, with software support bundled into the hourly rate. The rate you pay depends on which EC2 instance type you launch this image on. Each instance type listed is a separate hourly dimension. Smaller instance types carry lower hourly rates, while larger compute, memory, storage, and accelerated types carry higher rates. There is no upfront commitment or fixed term. Your total cost scales with how many hours each instance runs and which instance sizes you choose.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You get Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.7 running on the EC2 instance type you launch, plus software support from Tiov IT. The rate covers the operating system license and support bundled together. AWS charges the underlying compute separately. Each instance type is metered by the hour it runs.
The software rate meters running time only. A stopped or fully powered-off instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. Charges resume when you start the instance again. Note that AWS may still bill underlying storage for a stopped instance, separate from this software rate.
Each instance type is a separate hourly dimension with its own rate. Switching to a larger compute, memory, storage, or accelerated type moves you to that type's rate. The change is not automatic; it applies only to instances you launch on the new type. Your bill reflects the hours each type runs.

Usage instructions
SSH to the instance and login as 'ec2-user' using the key specified at launch.
Navigate to your Amazon EC2 console and verify that you're in the correct region. Choose Instance and select your launched instance.
Select the server to display your metadata page and choose the Status checks tab at the bottom of the page to review if your status checks passed or failed. Or
Select monitor an troubleshoot and select get system log to see the system log or select get instance screenshot to see state of your screen at the current time
The operating system does not save any sensitive information for the customers. The customer is responsible for saving any information, sensitive or not. The data saved on the volumes is not encrypted by default.
All instance authentication must use key pair access, not password-based authentication. AMIs does not contain passwords, authentication keys, key pairs, security keys, or other credentials. PasswordAuthentication is set to NO in sshd_config.
