Usage instructions
For a complete set of instructions and tips, visit the Silver Lining Cloud Documentation at https://www.silverlining.cloud/docs/aws/selenium-ubuntu-gui .
To access your system, the username is 'ubuntu', and the password for RDP and VNC is your EC2 Instance ID, such as 'i-0a85cdce733efbb08'.
For remote access, you have two options: If you prefer using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), start the Remote Desktop Connection on your local device and connect using the public IP address of your instance, with 'ubuntu' as the username and your EC2 Instance ID as the password. Alternatively, for a Virtual Network Computing (VNC) connection, launch a VNC client on your local device, connect to your instance's public IP address on port 5901, and use your instance ID as the password. When connecting with Windows Remote Desktop Connection, go to "More Options" and select "Allow me to save credentials." This is the only way the app will prompt you to enter a password.
To access the preconfigured sample code, open Visual Studio Code from the Applications panel. Select and open the appropriate file for Python, Node.js, or Java, and execute the script by clicking Run.
