Harmonic Security lets your teams adopt AI tools safely by protecting sensitive data in real time with minimal effort. It gives you full control and stops leaks so your teams can innovate confidently.
Harmonic empowers security teams to fully understand how their organization uses GenAI, while safeguarding sensitive data from leaking into GenAI or GenAI-enabled SaaS.
Our pre-trained small language models are specialized for detecting structured and unstructured sensitive data. Harmonic then interacts with the end-user at the point of data loss, helping to avoid sensitive data leaking while coaching end users toward the secure use of AI.
With Harmonic, you can:
Discover both GenAI and GenAI-enabled SaaS in use;
Pinpoint use of Shadow AI and unsanctioned apps;
Identify different GenAI app plans in use;
Detect high-risk apps training on your data;
Prevent intellectual property and sensitive data leaking into AI tools
Highlights
Prompt-Level Visibility - Harmonic gives you clear visibility into the data employees share with GenAI tools. This includes usage across free and personal accounts, as well as prompts submitted through embedded AI features in tools like Canva, Gamma, Google Translate, and Stack Exchange.
Real-Time Coaching at the Point of Risk - Instead of blocking GenAI tools, Harmonic intercepts prompts before sensitive data is exposed and guides users on what is risky and how to fix it. Custom small language models deliver decisions in under 200 milliseconds, and interventions can be customized with policies, role-based controls, and branded guidance to reduce friction and enable secure GenAI adoption.
Detect High-Risk AI Usage - Harmonic continuously monitors employee use of unsanctioned GenAI and GenAI-enabled tools. It identifies when these tools train on your data, operate in high-risk regions like China, or are receiving sensitive information from employees, giving security teams the context to act quickly.

Harmonic Security Protect uses one pricing dimension: an annual price charged per user. You commit to a 12-month term and pay for each user covered. A 200-user minimum applies, so your billing starts at that user count. Costs scale directly with the number of users you enroll. The final rate depends on your specific requirements and eligibility, so you request a Private Offer for a custom quote rather than paying a fixed public rate.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one user for the per-user annual charge?
A user is an individual employee whose AI activity the platform covers across browsers, desktop apps, and AI agents. Each enrolled person counts as one user. The 200-user minimum sets the starting billable count, so you pay for at least 200 users even with fewer people enrolled.
How does my cost change as I add more users during the term?
Cost scales directly with user count, since you pay a set rate for each enrolled user per year. Adding users raises the total proportionally. Billing never drops below the 200-user minimum. Because pricing depends on your requirements, you request a Private Offer for a rate that fits your enrolled user count.
What deployment or platform coverage is included for each user I pay for?
Each user's coverage spans browsers, desktop AI apps, developer tools, and autonomous agents from one platform. Deployment runs through common device management tools on Windows, macOS, and Linux. You get an AI tool inventory on day one, with no proxy redesign or certificate setup required.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Harmonic Security because it gives strong visibility and control over how employees use AI tools. The ability to identify sensitive data, detect risky AI interactions, and apply security controls in real time makes it especially helpful for reducing data-leakage risk while still letting teams adopt AI in a productive way.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Harmonic Security is that, as a specialized AI security platform, its reporting and dashboard customization can sometimes feel less mature than what you’d expect from more established enterprise security tools. I’d also appreciate more flexible evaluation and deployment options for organizations that want to test the platform thoroughly before committing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Harmonic Security helps tackle the challenge of adopting AI securely without introducing data-leakage or shadow-AI risks. It provides visibility into which AI tools employees are using, detects sensitive information in prompts and uploads, and enforces real-time controls such as warnings, coaching, or blocking.
