What do you dislike about the product?

One thing I dislike about Harmonic Security is that, as a specialized AI security platform, its reporting and dashboard customization can sometimes feel less mature than what you’d expect from more established enterprise security tools. I’d also appreciate more flexible evaluation and deployment options for organizations that want to test the platform thoroughly before committing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Harmonic Security helps tackle the challenge of adopting AI securely without introducing data-leakage or shadow-AI risks. It provides visibility into which AI tools employees are using, detects sensitive information in prompts and uploads, and enforces real-time controls such as warnings, coaching, or blocking.

What I like best about Harmonic Security is its AI-native approach to securing enterprise AI adoption without slowing down employee productivity. Instead of relying on traditional keyword-based DLP, it understands the intent and context behind AI interactions, helping detect sensitive data exposure, shadow AI usage, and risky behavior in real time. I also appreciate its comprehensive visibility across browser-based AI tools, desktop AI applications, embedded AI features, and AI agents, along with its intuitive dashboards and policy controls. Overall, Harmonic Security enables organizations to embrace AI confidently while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and data protection.

What do you dislike about the product?

One area where Harmonic Security could improve is offering more advanced dashboard customization, reporting flexibility, and workflow automation for large enterprise environments. While the platform provides excellent visibility and real-time AI governance, organizations with highly complex security operations may benefit from more granular policy controls, richer analytics, and additional out-of-the-box integrations with existing security ecosystems. I'd also like to see even more streamlined onboarding and configuration for enterprise deployments. Overall, the experience has been very positive, but greater customization, expanded integrations, and enhanced reporting would make Harmonic Security even more valuable for security and compliance teams.

This allows organizations to embrace AI without compromising security or compliance. As a result, it has reduced data exposure risks, simplified AI governance, improved regulatory compliance, and enabled teams to use AI tools confidently and productively.

I really like Harmonic.Security's real-time GenAI risk visibility and pre-built compliance controls, as they make it exceptional for managing security without hindering workflows. The frictionless user experience is a standout feature because it doesn't block workflows. I also appreciate that the real-time visibility automatically flags risky GenAI prompts and the pre-built policies save time during compliance audits without impacting daily operations. The initial setup was smooth and straightforward, thanks to the seamless cloud integrations.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find the custom policy builder slightly complex for new admins, and I wish there were more detailed reporting templates for easier executive reporting.

We use Harmonic.Security to prevent unsanctioned GenAI tool usage and block accidental sharing of sensitive data without hindering productivity. Its real-time visibility flags risky prompts and pre-built compliance policies save us setup time during audits, ensuring seamless daily operations.

What do you like best about the product?

What stands out most about harmonic security is its context aware, intent based governance that protects sensitive data without relying on rigid keywords or heavy proxies. It gives complete visibility into shadow AI, web tools, desktop apps, and agentic workflows (including MCP tool calls) across the organization while providing real-time, inline nudges that educate users without disrupting productivity.

What do you dislike about the product?

Fine-tuning custom policy rules for specialized streaming video code and OTT metadata pipelines takes a bit of extra setup time. Additionally, the executive audit dashboards could use more flexible data export options for compliance reporting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Harmonic security solves the problem of shadow AI and sensitive data leaks across browser apps, desktop tools, and developer code bases. It benefits our team by letting us safely use GenAI tools for our OTT media workflows and proprietary code without risking intellectual property or subscriber data exfiltration.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how Harmonic.Security gives us visibility into employee AI usage without needing to block tools entirely. The real-time, context-aware controls are especially helpful as they differentiate between normal AI use and risky data sharing, making our security approach practical and less disruptive. I appreciate the ability of its context-aware AI to analyze prompts and data in real time, providing warnings or blocking risky interactions, which gives the security team visibility. The initial setup of Harmonic.Security was also very easy.

What do you dislike about the product?

One improvement would be making the setup and policy configuration a little more straightforward, especially for teams defining detailed rules for different AI tools and types of sensitive data. I’d also like more customization around alerts and reporting so security teams can reduce noise and focus quickly on the highest-risk activity. I’d like to see more granular reporting and analytics so we can better understand AI usage trends, recurring risk patterns, and which policies are actually reducing incidents. It would also be helpful to have more transparent explanations behind automated decisions, so security teams can quickly understand why an interaction was flagged or blocked and fine-tune the controls accordingly.
