How ShareThis Interest Scores Work
ShareThis uses NLP and machine learning technologies to extract the contextual meaning of websites and their contents. We capture relevant intent signals associated with specific CPG product categories and calculate an interest score for every user in our network based on their engagement with these web pages. Scores above 1 represent higher than average interest. It identifies highly-engaged users within a category or users more inclined to consider and purchase products in that category.
