Current-year K-12 school and district data for all 50 U.S. states and DC: test scores, rankings, demographics, student/teacher ratios, free/reduced lunch data, per-pupil spending, graduation rates, dropout rates, chronic absenteeism, and more for 120,000+ schools and 18,500+ districts. Updated quarterly. Our most affordable entry point for comprehensive, analysis-ready school data. Trusted by leading real estate, EdTech, and research organizations since 2006. Free sample available.
A current-year snapshot of SchoolDigger's comprehensive school and district data — the same data fields as our 5-year and 10-year products, without the historical time series. Best for applications that need the latest data without historical trends: real estate displays, school search features, contact databases, AI model grounding, and data enrichment.
SchoolDigger gives you normalized, analysis-ready data for every K-12 school and district in the United States — over 120,000 schools and 18,500 districts across all 50 states and DC.
Collecting nationwide school performance data is notoriously difficult. Each state publishes in different formats — Excel spreadsheets, SAS files, massive PDFs, difficult-to-navigate websites. SchoolDigger has been doing this work since 2006, continuously monitoring all 50 state data sources and normalizing everything into one consistent data set. The result: one clean quarterly data delivery instead of 50 separate data pipelines.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a single pricing dimension: Product Access, billed as a one-year contract. You pay one fixed subscription that grants access to the dataset for the term. Pricing does not scale by usage, calls, or instance size. It covers a year-long lease of the data package, which is refreshed quarterly during the contract period. There are no add-ons or usage-based charges tied to this dimension. You commit for the full year and receive access to the included school directory and performance metrics for that time.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What data does this Performance Metrics package actually include for the one-year term?
You receive 16 tab-delimited files. These cover the school and district directory, one year of student attributes, one year of test scores, one year of rankings and spending per pupil, and school reviews. The files support offline import into your own database or analysis tools.
How often is the data refreshed once I subscribe?
The package is a year-long lease with quarterly updates. New data is delivered in January, April, July, and October during your contract term. You do not pay extra for these refreshes; they are part of the single subscription.
Is my cost affected by how much data I query or download?
No. This is a fixed annual subscription for a bulk dataset, not a metered service. There are no per-call, per-record, or overage charges. You pay one price for access to the complete file package for the full year, regardless of how often you use it.
