This product includes the same comprehensive data as our flagship 10-year product, with a 5-year historical window. Ideal if your analysis doesn't require a full decade of trends, or if you want a lower-cost entry point to SchoolDigger data.
SchoolDigger gives you 5 years of normalized, analysis-ready data for every K-12 school and district in the United States — over 120,000 schools and 18,500 districts across all 50 states and DC.
Collecting nationwide school performance data is notoriously difficult. Each state publishes in different formats — Excel spreadsheets, SAS files, massive PDFs, difficult-to-navigate websites. SchoolDigger has been doing this work since 2006, continuously monitoring all 50 state data sources and normalizing everything into one consistent data set. The result: one clean quarterly data delivery instead of 50 separate data pipelines.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing has one pricing dimension: Product Access, sold as Units. You buy access through a contract. The dataset is delivered as a bulk download package covering five years of nationwide school directory and performance metrics. It includes 16 tab-delimited files with directory data, student attributes, test scores, rankings, and spending. The lease runs for a year with quarterly data updates in January, April, July, and October. Because there is a single dimension, pricing does not scale by tier or usage. You pay one contract price for full access.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is included in the 5-year Performance Metrics package I get with this access?
You get 16 tab-delimited files covering the school and district directory, five years of student attributes, test scores, rankings, and spending per pupil. It also adds test score tier breakdowns and city rankings. School reviews are included too.
How is the data delivered, and how often does it refresh during the lease?
You receive the dataset as a bulk download for offline use in your own database or analysis tools. The lease runs one year with quarterly updates in January, April, July, and October. You pull the refreshed files each quarter rather than accessing a live feed.
Does buying access charge me per record, per school, or per download?
No. The single Product Access dimension grants access to the whole dataset for the contract term. You are not metered by record count, number of schools, or download volume. One contract price covers all 130,000+ schools and 18,500 districts in the package.
