AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a contract model built around credits. You buy an upfront Commit that sets your purchased credit balance for the term. The Commit Usage dimension draws down against that balance as you consume Oracle Database@AWS resources. If your usage exceeds the committed credits, the Overage dimension bills each additional credit at a per-credit rate. So your cost scales with credit consumption: committed credits are prepaid, and any usage beyond them is charged as overage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one credit represent for billing?
A credit is the unit that meters your use of Oracle Database@AWS resources. As you provision and run database resources in your AWS environment, that usage draws down credits. Credits are consumed based on the resources you deploy, not a fixed per-user or per-instance rate.
What happens if my usage goes past the credits I committed to?
Once your committed credit balance is used up, the Overage dimension takes over. Each additional credit beyond your commitment is billed at the per-credit overage rate. This transition happens automatically as consumption continues. Only the credits above your committed balance carry the overage charge.
How do the Commit, Commit Usage, and Overage dimensions combine on my bill?
The Commit sets your prepaid credit balance for the term. Commit Usage draws down against that balance as you consume resources, at no additional per-credit charge. Overage bills only credits used beyond the commitment. For usage within your commitment, no extra charge applies; overage drives added cost.
