What do you like best about the product?

I find OpManager Nexus easy to use and the best tool for network monitoring. I like the link monitor, NetFlow, device health, and real-time monitoring.

What do you dislike about the product?

I find the setup not easy, and I need clarity about what we want from the tools. Some devices aren’t supported in OpManager, which makes implementing devices from new vendors difficult.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?

I like being able to add devices and scan them for configuration issues, backup failures, and performance problems. The system quickly scans devices and can onboard multiple at once.

What do you dislike about the product?

The user interface and menus (UI/UX) aren’t very smooth, and it can be extremely frustrating to track down hidden menu options just to complete standard tasks, such as adding a device or creating groups of devices by location or device type. For the cost of this product, these issues seem unacceptable.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can integrate all our switches, routers, and network devices from multiple vendors and view them in one place. Documentation is very helpful for using the API, which allows us to leverage AI workflows to enrich the data.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like most about OpManager Nexus is its centralized visibility and proactive monitoring. It makes it easy to monitor servers, network devices, applications, and overall infrastructure from one platform, with real-time alerts that help us identify and resolve issues before they significantly impact users. The dashboards and performance reports are also useful for troubleshooting and capacity planning

What do you dislike about the product?

One area for improvement is that the initial configuration and tuning can take some time, especially in larger or complex environments. Some advanced monitoring and reporting features can also require additional configuration to get the desired level of detail. Overall, though, these are manageable limitations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

OpManager Nexus is helping us centralize IT infrastructure monitoring, identify network and server issues faster, and reduce downtime. It gives us better visibility across our hybrid environment, improves troubleshooting through alerts and performance metrics, and helps the IT team proactively address problems before they significantly impact users and business operations.

initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially in large-scale environments with multiple distributed monitoring servers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nexus solves the challenge of monitoring and managing multiple distributed network environments from single centralized platform.

What do you like best about the product?

its comprehensive and centralized monitoring capabilities, particularly for Microsoft SQL Server environments. The MSSQL monitoring provides good visibility into database performance, CPU and memory utilization, disk space, database availability, query performance, sessions, connections, and other critical database health parameters.

The real-time monitoring and alerting help us identify performance issues and potential problems at an early stage, allowing the infrastructure team to take proactive action before they impact business services. The dashboards and reports are also useful for quickly reviewing the overall health and performance of our SQL Server infrastructure from a single platform.

What do you dislike about the product?

Currently, I do not have any significant dislikes or major concerns with OpManager Nexus. It has been very helpful for our organization in providing centralized monitoring, better visibility into the IT infrastructure, and proactive identification of potential issues. Overall, the platform has been meeting our monitoring and infrastructure visibility requirements effectively.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before implementing OpManager Nexus, we were facing major SQL Server performance and slowness issues. Troubleshooting often required coordination between the infrastructure and application teams to determine the root cause of database performance problems.

With OpManager Nexus, we now have much better visibility into the SQL Server environment and can quickly identify what is causing performance degradation. We can monitor slow-running queries, database performance, I/O activity, CPU and memory utilization, sessions, and other critical database metrics.

This has significantly improved our troubleshooting and incident response. Instead of spending time investigating across different teams, we can use the monitoring data to identify the potential root cause more quickly, take proactive action, and reduce the impact of SQL performance issues on business applications.
