What do you like best about the product?
Anaplan stands out for its flexibility, ease of use and ability to adapt to different business needs. It is user-friendly for both developers and end users, while still supporting complex planning processes. Performance is excellent, particularly with Polaris, and the Classic Engine also performs very well. ADO makes data integration straightforward, and in many cases Anaplan helps significantly reduce the time needed for planning after implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anaplan’s pricing is relatively high, and costs have continued to increase. The AI capabilities are still developing, although the roadmap looks promising. The addition of MCP capabilities would also be a great step forward and could further strengthen the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan helps reduce manual work and disconnected planning by bringing data and business processes together. This makes planning faster, improves transparency and collaboration, and gives users more time to focus on analysis and decision-making.

Planning in Anaplan on multi dimensions with an interactive interface is very useful
What do you dislike about the product?
Anaplan has not released it's MCP Yet. It would be very useful to develop AI features with Anaplan's native MCP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So most of our business were doing their planning and forecasting in excel in quite an old fashion, but with anaplan now planning and forecasting has become much faster.
