Databahn Highway is a high-performance data streaming and observability platform designed to simplify secure, real-time data ingestion from distributed sources into your cloud analytics and SIEM environments. Built for scale and compliance, Highway ensures seamless integration with AWS services and third-party tools, offering low-latency pipelines, protocol-aware enrichment, and advanced filtering. Whether you're aggregating telemetry, logs, or security data, Databahn Highway enables efficient, policy-driven data movement with full auditability and enterprise-grade controls.
Databahn Highway is a scalable, enterprise-grade data movement and observability layer purpose-built to streamline, secure, and optimize the ingestion of telemetry, log, and event data from edge environments to centralized analytics and security platforms in the cloud or onprem. Designed for high-throughput environments, Highway acts as a reliable data conduit across diverse infrastructures - from on-prem systems and IOT ecosystems to cloud-native workloads - ensuring consistent, low-latency data delivery, compliance enforcement, and operational resilience.
Key Capabilities Edge-to-Cloud Data Streaming Databahn Highway supports high-speed ingestion from a variety of distributed systems and edge devices. It enables secure transport of telemetry data (e.g., logs, metrics, traces) to cloud-native SIEMs, data lakes, and observability platforms including Amazon S3, OpenSearch, Chronicle, Sentinel, and more.
Flexible Ingestion Framework Using a modular plug-in architecture and native integration with FluentBit, Databahn Highway supports custom connectors, file tailing, syslog, Windows event forwarding, SNMP, and IOT data sources - all configurable via declarative YAML-based profiles.
Data Filtering, Enrichment, and Redaction Highway supports in-stream filtering, tagging, protocol-specific parsing, and redaction of sensitive information prior to forwarding. Sensitive data tracking ensures compliance with data governance and privacy standards, especially in regulated industries like finance, healthcare, and critical infrastructure.
Policy-Driven Routing and Multi-Destination Forwarding Data can be routed to multiple destinations simultaneously based on flexible policy definitions - by region, customer, or compliance requirement. This ensures redundancy, separation of duties, and secure data delivery aligned with your data sovereignty mandates.
Observability and Auditing Databahn Highway provides full observability into data flows via an integrated control plane with dashboards, metrics, and logs. Each event is auditable, and AI-assisted enrichment is traceable, providing end-to-end transparency for data movement and transformation.
AI Integration with Guardrails Highway integrates with Azure OpenAI and Anthropic's Claude for assistive use cases such as log parsing and field normalization - with no customer data used to train models. All AI interactions are auditable, isolated per customer, and can be executed within your own trusted cloud subscriptions.
Fault Tolerance and Upgrade Safety Upgrades to Highway components are designed to be non-disruptive, with rollback safety mechanisms and clear separation between edge and cloud planes. This ensures uninterrupted data flow even during system changes or maintenance.
Deployment Agility Databahn Highway can be deployed as an agent, sidecar, container, or appliance across cloud regions, customer data centers, or secure environments. It supports air-gapped installations and is optimized for low-resource devices as well.
Whether you're a security team looking to optimize SIEM costs or a data platform team focused on real-time analytics, Databahn Highway delivers the reliability, security, and control needed to build trustable, compliant, and efficient data pipelines.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a single pricing dimension based on the volume of data you ingest per day, measured in gigabytes (GB). You commit to a daily ingestion volume under a contract, and your price scales with that committed amount. The more data you plan to route through the platform each day, the higher your committed volume. There are no separate tiers or add-on options to choose between. Pricing is tied to one usage measure, so you size your commitment to match your expected daily data flow.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts toward my daily ingested volume in gigabytes (GB)?
Your committed volume measures the data the platform collects and routes each day, before filtering. The platform ingests telemetry from cloud, on-premise, and vendor sources, then cleans, transforms, and routes it. You size your commitment to match the total daily data flowing into the platform across all your connected sources.
What happens to my cost if my daily data volume grows over time?
Your price is tied to the committed daily ingestion volume you select. If your actual daily data flow grows beyond that commitment, you would need to adjust your committed volume. The platform's filtering rules can reduce the volume routed downstream, but your commitment reflects the data ingested, not the reduced output.
Does my committed volume include separate fees for moving data to multiple destinations?
Pricing is based on one measure: the daily volume of data ingested. The platform can fork data to multiple destinations without duplicate ingestion overhead. Your commitment covers ingestion volume, so routing the same data to several tools does not multiply the metered amount you commit to.

Streamlines Data for Consistent Analysis
Reviewed on May 20, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use DataBahn primarily as a data processing and enrichment pipeline that sits between raw log ingestion and downstream platforms like Microsoft Sentinel. It normalizes and standardizes data before it reaches the SIEM, ensuring fields are consistent across sources. This means that instead of dealing with messy, inconsistent logs inside Microsoft Sentinel, I get clean, structured, and standardized data from the start. This process of data handling makes my job much easier and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Troubleshooting issues like dropped logs and parsing failures can sometimes lack clear visibility or detailed error feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use DataBahn to process and enrich data, ensuring it's clean, structured, and standardized. It normalizes logs from different tools, making analysis consistent and eliminating messy, inconsistent data in Microsoft Sentinel.
