This post-pandemic Propensity Model determines the probability that a US adult uses Instagram Regularly. Lift over Random 1.47. This post-pandemic Propensity model is one of a series of consumer classification models based on data from over 17,000 US adults surveyed in 2021 from Prosper's US Media Behaviors & Influence study. Survey data was collected 9 months after the National Covid-19 Coronavirus Emergency was declared, capturing consumer behavior changes and preferences. The survey is anonymous. Zero PII. CCPA and HIPAA Compliant.
Highlights
Enhances digital and offline targeting by identifying an individual’s probability to engage in a specific behavior. Model is based on data from over 17,000 US adults surveyed in 2021 from Prosper's US Media Behaviors & Influence study.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay based on usage, with no upfront commitment. Five dimensions bill by host hours for running batch inference on different machine learning instance sizes. These range from smaller instances up to larger ones, letting you match compute power to your workload. Larger instance types carry higher hourly rates. A separate dimension bills per inference request, charging by the number of predictions you run rather than by time. You can pick the instance size that fits your batch job, or pay per request through the request-based option.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one host hour mean for the batch inference instance dimensions?
A host hour is one hour that a chosen machine learning instance runs in batch mode. You are billed for the time the instance is active processing your batch job. Each instance size has its own hourly rate, and you select the size that matches your workload.
How does the request-based dimension differ from the host-hour instance dimensions?
The five instance dimensions meter running time, charging per host hour while a batch instance processes data. The request-based dimension meters prediction volume, charging per inference request regardless of time. Time-based billing suits sustained batch jobs; request-based billing suits variable prediction counts.
What runs on these instances, and what are the models predicting?
The models generate propensity scores from Prosper's consumer survey data, run through a managed machine learning platform in batch mode. You feed your audience data in, and the model scores the likelihood of future consumer actions. The instance size you pick sets the compute available for each batch.

An Amazon SageMaker model package is a pre-trained machine learning model ready to use without additional training. Use the model package to create a model on Amazon SageMaker for real-time inference or batch processing. Amazon SageMaker is a fully managed platform for building, training, and deploying machine learning models at scale.
Deploy the model on Amazon SageMaker AI using the following options:
Real-time inference
Deploy the model as an API endpoint for your applications. When you send data to the endpoint, SageMaker processes it and returns results by API response. The endpoint runs continuously until you delete it. You're billed for software and SageMaker infrastructure costs while the endpoint runs. AWS Marketplace models don't support Amazon SageMaker Asynchronous Inference. For more information, see Deploy models for real-time inference .
Batch transform
Deploy the model to process batches of data stored in Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). SageMaker runs the job, processes your data, and returns results to Amazon S3. When complete, SageMaker stops the model. You're billed for software and SageMaker infrastructure costs only during the batch job. Duration depends on your model, instance type, and dataset size. AWS Marketplace models don't support Amazon SageMaker Asynchronous Inference. For more information, see Batch transform for inference with Amazon SageMaker AI .

Summary
The model provides propensity estimates based on gender, age range, income range, and zip code. See the sample notebook for details concerning input variables and mappings.
Five digit zip code as integer.
The model requires that the zip code be replaced by a set of 25 binary variables that represent special information regarding the zip. Prosper provides a file that maps every zip code into two integer values (division and cluster). These values are then converted into a set of binary values in a manner similar to one-hot encoding. The mapping file as well as the conversion routines are provided with the sample notebook.
AWS Support is a one-on-one, fast-response support channel that is staffed 24x7x365 with experienced and technical support engineers. The service helps customers of all sizes and technical abilities to successfully utilize the products and features provided by Amazon Web Services.
