Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
You buy this as a contract based on the number of active users your organization has. Five bundles let you match your size: Startup covers 20 users, Small covers 100, Medium covers 1,000, Large covers 10,000, and Enterprise covers 100,000. You pick the bundle closest to your user count. A separate usage dimension, Additional emails outside of bundle, bills messages that fall outside your chosen bundle. This add-on scales with actual email volume, so you pay for extra sending beyond what your bundle includes.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Billing is based on the number of active users per year. You decide which users may send through the service in your own mail server environment. You don't manage users inside the platform itself. Each person authorized to send secure email counts toward your bundle's user total.
The Additional emails outside of bundle dimension bills messages that exceed what your chosen bundle includes. These extra messages are metered by actual volume. You pay only for the sending beyond your bundle, so cost rises with the number of additional emails sent.
The two charges bill independently and appear together. Your bundle charge is fixed by the active-user count you select. The additional email charge is variable, driven by message volume beyond the bundle. For steady sending within your bundle, the user bundle drives most of your cost.
