Overview
EasyPA FHIR Explorer Premium adds a complete write tier on top of the Free read-only product. Create, update, and delete FHIR R4 resources, post transaction bundles, and bulk-import up to 500 resources per call - against your own HealthLake, any FHIR R4 REST endpoint, or our managed datastore.
What's included beyond Free:
- create, update, delete on any FHIR R4 resource
- Transaction bundles (atomic multi-operation)
- Bulk $import endpoint (up to 500 resources per call)
- Dedicated per-tenant HealthLake datastore, auto-provisioned at subscribe time (no cross-tenant storage)
- 20 requests/sec rate limit per tenant (10x Free)
- Version diff and rollback in the UI
- 365-day audit log retention (Free: 90 days)
- Priority support
- Volume discounts on reads/writes/imports available via AWS Marketplace Private Offer
Connection modes (same as Free):
- EasyPA Managed FHIR - We host the HealthLake datastore, tenant-tag isolated.
- BYO HealthLake - Cross-account IAM role with read+write policy (CloudFormation template provided).
- BYO REST - Any FHIR R4 server (Azure FHIR, Google Healthcare API, Aidbox, etc.).
Recommended write target: BYO HealthLake or BYO REST. Writes to the managed datastore are supported but the customer is responsible for resource validity.
Data separation: Premium provisions a fresh empty dedicated HealthLake datastore. Data previously written on the Free/managed tier stays on the shared managed datastore and is NOT automatically copied. Use the Premium $import endpoint to bring resources forward. If the private datastore is deleted (inactivity sweep or cancellation), data that lived exclusively on the private datastore is permanently lost - export before deletion if preservation matters.
Inactivity policy: If the tenant has zero writes and fewer than 50 reads over a 30-day window, we email a warning and, if inactivity continues, schedule the private datastore for deletion after a 22-day grace window. Any FHIR activity in the window clears the warning.
Compliance: SOC 2 Type II certified, HIPAA-compliant, continuously monitored via Vanta. Independent third-party audits completed. BAA included with every Premium subscription before any PHI touches our managed or dedicated datastore.
