Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does 'Annual Billing Volume' mean, and how is my volume measured against the $100M limit?
Annual Billing Volume refers to the total value you bill your own customers through the platform over a year. This dimension covers deployments up to $100M in that volume. Your exact usage allowances and provisioned environments are defined in your private offer.
What capabilities does the base subscription include?
Your subscription covers billing configuration, usage mediation, rating, invoicing, and automated order-to-cash workflows. The platform also supports product catalog management, packages and bundles, multiple rating methods, workflow automation, multi-currency and multi-language operations, and reporting. All of this runs on the shared SaaS platform.
Does this replace our existing CRM or quote tools, or work alongside them?
It works alongside them. The platform sits downstream of your CRM or quoting systems. It takes signed contract terms, discounts, ramps, and commitments and runs billing, collections, and cash application from them. Your sales and delivery teams keep using the systems they already have.

Easy-to-Customize Reports and Helpful Support, but Slow Invoice Closures

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to customize reporting. I enjoy the customizability in the reports and bulk loader because it makes our job easy. I believe the initial setup was easy, and support has been good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the invoice page could be improved, and the response time can be slow. Many times, invoices take 2–3 minutes to close, which is long when I’m working through bigger projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BillingPlatform for invoices and invoice status, reporting, file generation, and account management.

Reliable Data, Flexible Reports — Great for Invoicing and Contractor Payments
Reviewed on Oct 27, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about BillingPlatform is the flexibility of its reporting. We use BP both to invoice our customers and to generate invoices for our contract workers, who we then pay based on that data. Before processing any contractor payments, I rely heavily on BP to check and confirm the underlying data, and having customizable reports that I can tailor to our specific needs makes that verification process much more efficient and reliable. It gives me confidence that what we’re paying out matches what’s actually been invoiced.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I’d note is that some of the reporting/data setup didn’t initially fit exactly how we needed and we had to work with support to request specific updates to get it aligned with my workflow. It’s not a major drawback, since the platform is flexible enough to accommodate those changes, but it would be nice if some of that customization were a bit more self-service rather than requiring a request to the BillingPlatform/billing operations team each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BillingPlatform solves two core problems for us: generating accurate customer invoices, and generating the invoices we use to pay our contract workers. For my role specifically, the biggest benefit is on the latter — BP gives me a reliable source of truth to verify contractor payment data before it goes out the door, which reduces the risk of overpaying, underpaying, or paying based on inaccurate figures.
The customizable reporting is what really benefits me day to day — I can pull and tailor reports to fit exactly what I need for reconciliation and verification, rather than working around a rigid, one-size-fits-all report format. This has been especially valuable for things like the monthly payments workbook, where I need to cross-check invoice data against what’s actually owed before processing payment. Having that flexibility saves time and reduces the manual legwork I’d otherwise need to do to get the data into a usable format.

Customizable Yet Complex Setup
Reviewed on Sep 23, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable and configurable BillingPlatform is to match our business requirements. It's also good that it is API first and very powerful. Additionally, I appreciate how easy it is to update layouts within the tool to quickly get a better view and apply filters.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's slow to load: reaching a single section can take several clicks and each is slow. Links can't be opened in new tabs by default with Command key + click, requiring right clicks instead. The Log Analyzer can't be enabled for more than 24 hours and isn't API enabled. The Processing console is hard to read and has misleading numbers for in-progress processes, making it tough to gauge completion time. The AI report performs poorly, often outputting nothing; I find the Query Builder in the workbench more effective, as it allows me to inspect entity fields better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BillingPlatform helps with billing, proration, usage-based billing, product catalog handling, and invoicing. It unifies our billing processes, requires less maintenance, and allows for more complex billing methods.
