Great start with Vértice – already seeing value!
SaaS Spend Optimisation
Through Vertice's structure and team, their simple implementation and introduction into our business have been seamless, enabling easy and frequent use to support our end-user customers. Through our partnership, we have been able to increase the procurement team's delivery of customer support significantly.
Good product, a few tweaks could make it great.
The customer success and procurement teams that support us are excellent! They respond quickly, share practical guidance, and clearly understand how to maximize the benefits of the platform for our organisation. I'm personally in and using it all the time!
In addition, the product catalog tied to contracts isn’t always accurate, with some items missing or mismatched. Support is generally helpful, but since it’s based in a different region to us, responses can occasionally be delayed.
That said, Vertice is very receptive to customer input. They take enhancement requests seriously and actively log feedback, which gives confidence that these issues are being addressed over time. I've already seen this play out with a recent update to the Slack integration and notifications, which is very straight forward and easy to configure.
While the above looks like a long list, it doesn't detract from any of the cost saving benefits and are any issues I've found are relatively minor in scale.
This also creates common challenges:
Limited visibility
Wasted spend
Inefficient negotiations
Administrative burden
Vertice addresses these issues by centralising contract management, providing benchmarked data for smarter negotiations, and automating renewals and visibility across departments. In short, it helps businesses cut unnecessary spend, reduce administrative friction, and gain better control over their SaaS and software portfolio.
