Overview
Most Qlik portfolios have no shared definition of a good app. Quality drifts, and oversized, slow apps quietly burn Qlik Cloud capacity. Nobody notices until a reload fails or the capacity bill jumps.
Zelai: Qlik Edition applies IPC Global's 64 check Qlik quality standard to every app in your tenant, automatically and on a cadence you set. Each app is scored across 8 quality categories: data modeling, scripting, performance, lineage, sheet and UX design, master items, governance, and capacity efficiency, and graded A to F. Findings are weighted Critical, Major, and Minor, and each one carries a suggested fix and a projected score after remediation.
Four views ship with the product:
Executive overview: every app's grade, your portfolio rating, ranking by category, quality trend over time, and where the risk sits, in one screen.
App review report: every failed check on an app with severity, a suggested fix per item, projected score after fixes, and release blocker flags.
Developer scorecard: quality by developer, personal weak spots, fail rate, and month over month improvement, so coaching reaches the people and habits that need it.
Training priorities: the checklist items your team fails most, weighted by severity, with a category and severity heatmap, so standards and training target real gaps instead of guesses.
How it works: the analyzer connects to your Qlik Cloud tenant over MCP, read only. Nothing is written back to your tenant and no app content is modified. Baseline the portfolio, set the review cadence, and gate releases so every app is checked against your standard before it reaches production. Findings are tied to Qlik Cloud capacity consumption, so you can see which oversized apps inflate your Data for Analysis bill.
