This offering specifies the content of a Westcon Professional Services StarterPack for the implementation and initial (basic) configuration of Palo Alto NetworksNext Generation FireWall (NGFW)hardware appliance(s) ina standalone configuration (i.e. that the NGFW appliance is not managed by a Panorama central management).

There is a specific need to address the “long tail” of NGFW installation for small projects (SMB and Mid-market)​ Typically a few NGFW sites to be “set-up”​ Target group: “inexperienced” SecOps end-customers (and partners) (SMB market)​ These projects may be considered “too small” for PAN Partners​ Goal is to offer a good “security base-line” not a perfectly bespoke security solution​ This is the sweet spot for this initiative which is to define a Westcon Professional Services proposition​

Service Variants / SKU:There are two variants to the StarterPack for this configuration, namely without or with policy migrationfrom another firewall technology.
