Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The software carries no licence charge. You pay only for the AWS EC2 instance you run it on, billed per hour at the rate shown for your chosen instance type. Underlying AWS storage and data transfer charges apply separately, as with any EC2 workload.
The software has no per-hour charge because it is free. Hourly costs come from the running EC2 instance. A stopped instance stops accruing compute charges, though attached AWS storage may still bill. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
Each dimension maps to a distinct EC2 instance type. The operating system is identical across all of them. The difference is hardware: virtual CPUs, memory, storage, and accelerators like GPUs. Larger or specialized instances cost more per hour. You match the instance to your workload and budget.

For Ubuntu Cloud Guest it is suggested to manually configure your Security Group/Firewall settings. The 1-Click Security Group opens only port 22 so that you can access your instance via ssh using login 'ubuntu'. If you chose the 1-Click Security Group, you may change it later to enable applications using the AWS Console or API.
