BridgeLink® is an enterprise-grade open-source healthcare integration platform. Enterprise Edition includes SSL, Cognito, Advanced Access Control + MFA, OpenAI, auto-scaling, and HA.
BridgeLink® is an enterprise-grade open-source healthcare integration platform, built on a hardened and modernized fork of open source Mirth® Connect. It enables healthcare data exchange across HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, DICOM, X12, XML, JSON, and Delimited Text with built-in message transformation and routing. Built-in connectors support HTTPS REST APIs, SOAP web services, TCP/MLLP, SFTP, direct database read and write, and much more.
What's new in BridgeLink:
- Dynamic Lookup Gateway (DLG) - A high-speed code mapping and crosswalk engine. Manage provider directories, LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10, CPT, and custom value sets without hardcoded logic.
- Version History - Integrated Git-based version control for channels and code templates. Track changes, compare revisions, and roll back configurations at any time.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for BridgeLink Enterprise Edition, billed on the EC2 instance type you run. Each dimension maps to a single AWS instance size, so pricing scales with the compute, memory, storage, or accelerator profile you select. Smaller general-purpose instances carry lower hourly rates, while large memory, storage, GPU, and bare-metal instances cost more per hour. You choose the instance that fits your integration workload and volume. There are no tiers or feature bundles here — the hourly software rate simply follows the hardware capacity you deploy.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I actually get for the hourly rate on a given instance type?
You get a running instance of BridgeLink Enterprise Edition on the exact AWS EC2 instance size you select. The dimension name equals the instance type, so its CPU, memory, storage, and any accelerators match that AWS spec. The hourly software rate covers the BridgeLink license, separate from AWS compute charges.
Am I charged the hourly software rate when my instance is stopped or paused?
The software rate meters running instance-hours only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue BridgeLink hourly charges. Underlying AWS storage fees may still apply while the instance is stopped, but those come from AWS, not the software license. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
If my message volume grows, how do I move to more capacity and what changes on my bill?
There are no usage tiers. To add capacity, you deploy a instance type with more CPU, memory, storage, or accelerators. Your hourly software rate then follows that larger instance's rate. The change is manual — you choose and launch the new instance size to match your integration workload.

CloudFormation Template (CFT)
AWS CloudFormation templates are JSON or YAML-formatted text files that simplify provisioning and management on AWS. The templates describe the service or application architecture you want to deploy, and AWS CloudFormation uses those templates to provision and configure the required services (such as Amazon EC2 instances or Amazon RDS DB instances). The deployed application and associated resources are called a "stack."

Usage instructions
When a new AMI is deployed for the first time, BridgeLink version 26.3.1 will be installed, auto configured and started. The BridgeLink will be automatically allocated 50% of the total memory of the EC2 instance. You can either select the existing RDS instance as BridgeLink's database or create a new RDS Aurora/Postgres instance and define the database and schema. Furthermore, it allows users to upload SSL certificates for encryption on BridgeLink channels. First of all, if you choose to create a new RDS Aurora/Postgres instance, you have to create a subnet group in AWS RDS console and please make sure that the subnet group belongs to the same VPC which the EC2 instance will be allocated to. This subnet group is a required parameter in the CloudFormation template. When launching a new stack from the Cloudformation template, you can set up parameters such as RDS PostgreSQL database username and password, BridgeLink admin password, Please click here for plugin user guides. BridgeLink status can be checked by running: "systemctl status bridgelink". BridgeLink default index page will be accessible at http://<public_dns>:8080 or from the BridgeLink Administrator Launcher at https://<public_dns>:8443. The default username is admin. Please use the password you enter in the Cloudformation template to login.
Downloading BridgeLink Administrator Launcher is optional; all the functionalities of BridgeLink can be accessed in the REST API. BridgeLink REST API can be accessed at https://<public_dns>:8443/api BridgeLink configuration can be found in /etc/bridgelink/conf/mirth.properties
